They've been alright. I didn't really start breeding again until recently (actually with those two). I've had some crosses but no cross with as high as GP as them. How have your crosses been coming along?

Oh, my stuff's been coming along great. Got a few nice lines going that hit leaderboards, a few compers. All in all, I'm happy with how it's going over here.

New KWPN mare is on 4 rosettes. Hoping to get a few more. I have a foal out of her but I have no motivation to do anything with it, as crossed back it will produce another KWPN when all I want in life is a Hanoverian...

Due to my loss of motivation, I bred a TB with a cover release GP Mustang stallion and ended up with this mare who i am very fond of and is doing quite well in Barrel Racing.. HOPEFULLY I can get a rosette from her in Mustang Barrel Racing but who knows, I may see if I can find a Mustang with a higher GP to breed with.

I've got a GV mare that I want to cross with something to breed to this stud for an XC-based 4-way... so it'd be GV x Selle x Friesian x ??
Any ideas what to have as a 4th breed? Ideally something I could get a 7000+ gp cover from

Akhal Teke? A couple top teams do covers.

I'd recommend any of these breeds. Not sure where GP is on most of them or if teams give cross covers...but they all have the cross country skill set:
Akhal-Teke: Stamina, Dressage, Jumping, Speed, Gallop, Trot
Barb: stamina, dressage, jumping, speed, gallop, trot
Shagya Arabian: Stamina, Dressage, jumping, Speed, trot, gallop
Canadian Horse: Stamina, Dressage, Jumping, Gallop, speed, trot
Connemara: Stamina, Dressage, Jumping, Gallop, speed, trot
Arabian: Stamina, Dressage, Jumping, Gallop, Speed, Trot
Russian Don Horse: jumping, stamina, dressage, gallop, speed, trot

So I just found out that Elise is 2nd for Crio speed and 18th for jumping! I find that pretty amazing because I haven't had a horse in the top horses since around 2012/2013 .

Can we not breed draft horses with riding horses on Howrse?
I can't get it to work...

And why not? There are plenty of breeds that were created by crossing drafts and riding horses. If there something in the Howrse game-play set up that has discouraged them from allowing us to cross them?

nope.......draft horses can only breed with other draft horses

I just went and read through the Howrse rules on breeding again... but I still don't like it, nor do I understand the why of it. We also definitely need Clydesdales and Belgians added to the server.

If a horse is born with genetics 25/25/25/25 between 4 breeds, what will the dominant breed be?
