My newest foal!!! She's a Paint/Marwari mix. I have a little plan for herdefault smiley (lol) First, I'll breed her to a Paint, breed the purebred Paint foal to a Marwari, breed the Marwari/Paint foal to a Marwari, so that, hopefully, I'll get a higher starred Marwari.

Ya know I have a question. I don't know if anyone can answer but it's something to think about none the less....Why are cross breeds so hard to sell? I mean if there GP is just as good as there purebred ancestors then why does everyone ignore them?

A lot of people breed purebreds for stars. I've heard it takes 8 gens to take the cross out of the horse.

Crosses dont sell good because purebred breeders think of them as useless mutts,even though they are WAY better than pures at comps.
