hello from a lurker.. okay so I've been dabbling in crossbreeds since I first started my account, such a long time ago now..

mostly I was working with crossbred Arabians, but since I got the new graphics I've branched out into other breed crossbreds..

heres the colt of my twin Anglo foals, 23 * both his parents were purebreds, hoping to blup him & his sister to use in my breeding program.. they are both thoroughbred by breed with an Arabian dam!

Anglo Colt

hoping to post a few of my other breeds here eventually.. he he I also have a pair of nice Connemara crossies too. their in the Training tab..

By Retired breeder, 25th May 2010 21:08:39
thanx foxxxyblonde.. your comments have given me much thought..
By Retired breeder, 25th May 2010 21:44:59
Do tell.... what are you thinking
By Retired breeder, 25th May 2010 21:48:36
well I've never had much success at cross country comps.. & most of my horses end up as breeders so I usually just go for the 20 wins then fully train everything.. although.. the mare of the 2 anglo foals is in the process of being blupped now if she has an luck in the cross country events I'll save the colt specially for that.. just to see how he goes..

Try a bit of paint in the cross for speed. My paint X Thoroughbreds are monster comp horses.
By Retired breeder, 25th May 2010 21:52:59
Ugh. I hate not being able to breed. I think i might experiment with Canadian's and Newfoundland's. Has anyone done them? Any advice?
By Retired breeder, 25th May 2010 22:11:18

Kat - try some low trotting or cross country. That might help.

I'm starting to think about breeding a few Frie/Irish Hunter foals. But my real goal is to breed horses with a star in each catogory. I'm still waiting 'till my filly turns 3, so I can put MA on her.

I just got a nice purebred mare. MoonPie. I'm gonna train her and breed her with a friesian i think. New experiment!
