HellOw!

If you like to cross-breed, this is the place for you!

On this topic, you can discuss your crossbreeding programs, share your secrets, and advise other players about it.

Compare different crosses with the ones from other players, and brag about your achievements in crossbreeding.

It's not allowed to advertise horse sales!

The forum rules and the game rules also apply.

Have fun sharing!

Ooooooooo. I'll take a look.
A question for everybody here:

What do you cross for? GP? Increasing a certain skill for a comp monster? Making your favorite breed have higher Dressage skills?

I do it to try to prove that crosses can be just as good if not better than purebreds.
By Retired breeder, 29th April 2010 03:46:51
I do it for a breeds selected skill now.
All my horses under the Pagan Uprising affix have been in atleast one top 10 skill board.
default smiley (y)

I just do it to break the monotony of NIBing. After having my rear handed to me repeatedly as an NIBer sometimes.. it just feels good to breed a monster to wipe up the comps with default smiley :)
Speaking of which this lil lady http://www.howrse.com/elevage/fiche/?id=9676940 is now up to 242 wins! Woohoo!
I'm breeding for 20* and higher all skillers!
Thanks pixiesbite, she is a sweet heart!default smiley :-))

Can someone help me? I am still pretty new to this game. Why does no one want my horse Tiger'sEye? It has 1064 skills at only 14 years old which seems to be pretty good. Has a really high gp of 770.10 and has 258 skill in dressage making it an ec booster I think *from what I have been told* So I don't understand...why does no one want this horse? I got a pm from a player saying it was worthless default smiley :( They didn't say why though
Sounds like they were just being mean......But with those the dressage issue, it may be a decent dressage but compared to the top dressage it is about 60 points off default smiley xd lol. You should still be able to sell him for a decent price but remember that crossbred horses don't sell for as much as purebreds

I think that's silly crossbreds are just as good as purebreds anyday. Better in my opinion. default smiley :)
Oh well thank you ForestQueen. Much appreciated
True default smiley ^), I love me some crossbred horses now! I used to despise them but it is from the mentality in today's world. Crossbreeding is becoming more popular amongst some breeders (IRL) but is still, for the most part, looked down upon because of registration issues. *shrug* crossbred horses are usually the best in real life too, mustangs/brumbies are perfect examples of that lol
