HellOw!

If you like to cross-breed, this is the place for you!

On this topic, you can discuss your crossbreeding programs, share your secrets, and advise other players about it.

Compare different crosses with the ones from other players, and brag about your achievements in crossbreeding.

It's not allowed to advertise horse sales!

The forum rules and the game rules also apply.

Have fun sharing!

CL-I am stuck on the top 500 achievement and I doubt I will pass it before the achievements go.... The worst part is I probably have almost all of level 9 done already!

itunes - It took me forever. Then I had asked for the tears, they sent it and I had to send it to another player (apparently they "owed" this person) and so then I had to go offline, and suddenly too, I was going to a party and I didn't want to be late/couldn't be and I couldn't tell them then they sent me liek 10+ PMs and flooded my PM box (both players, and one is older, like 600 days) and one PM said I was a scammer! And I was mad about that, I wasn't even online and they tried to tell me what would I have done. And I said - "Well I would have done the smart thing and looked at their status to see if they are online or not. If not/or so I would only send *ONE* PM and not flood their entire box. default smiley xd

I had one new player I was helping practically have a nervous breakdown when I got off. She sent me 12 messages and then had her friend send me some too. SShe thought her horse was dying and was begging for equus to save it! Her friend was begging me too. I was only offline for 15 minutes. Her last message made me burst into giggles. 'Thanks for nothing! I guess you want my horse to die! You shouldn't say you will help new players if you don't mean it!' The funniest part was that her horse was fine!

Back on topic. I just saw a 26* cross in the sales! It was 75,000e though...
By Retired breeder, 5th June 2010 03:17:20
I should mention I did help her out and she was fine(and calmer) in the end.

Sunny290, if you need help with your getting your EC in the Top 500...PM me. I can tell you why yours hasn't made it yet. I just looked over your EC.

Now, back to crossbreeding, I'm thinking of making an Arab with speed as the top skill. Only thing is I'm stumped on how to do that as when I did the calculations with using a high gp paint and high gp arab, it doesn't work out.

Should I just use a high gp paint but a low gp arab? This way, stamina would come waaaay down and not be in the top 3?
Thanks for the clarification on how the breed of foal is decided.
Does anyone have suggestions on what to cross with TBs to raise jumping skill/GP? I'm hoping to move it into the top two or three skills (based on GP). Any ideas?
Post or PM, whichever suits you.
Thanks!

DeXMonica- I would do hanoverians. Their top skill is Jumping, second is Speed (which is a thoroughbred's second best skill also) and third is gallop (a TBs best) default smiley :d

I have been breeding Mustang cross for a while and love them! For a while, before the boards were flooded, my mustangs had the highest star counts. Here are my most recent horses.

Journey: http://www.howrse.com/elevage/chevaux/cheval?id=9792303

Forget her name ATM lol! http://www.howrse.com/elevage/chevaux/cheval?id=9792303

Tul ne taw (Na'vi for run to the sky) http://www.howrse.com/elevage/chevaux/cheval?id=9960462

i crossed the two 50/50 horses (top 2 listed) and got the third link. She turned out great! She has more stars then what is selling in the sales!

*** Also, Iam looking for a breeding partner. Please PM!

Speaking of six-skillers, I am pleased to introduce...

The first foals of the new Kobalt Excellence line!

Finally managing to produce high-GP Hunters with stars all over the place - put the first offering in the PS and he sold within the hour for 1500 and three passes. So I just tossed a few more (including a filly or two) into the pot to see what happens.

I have been a six-skiller fan for as long as I've been playing the game - my first ever project was The Big Blue Line, who were six-skilled Frie crosses. Still have most of my original breeding stock and plan to keep them forever - no matter how "outdated" they become, they were uber-cool when they first came out.

Hoping to do the same thing here - start a line of six-skilled Hunters that will increase steadily in GP until they're able to compete with the purebreds in dressage and prestige.
