Word of advice: Wait for the Ticket Packs to be offered! You will save passes in the long run (as you'll get 6 tickets for the price of 3)

Anyhow - Scorpio is gotten at 23,000 points

12 Horses can be entered per day (6 per 'competition' period)

The following are point results from a competition for various placings in events of horses of ALL different skill levels:

1st: 92
2nd: 78
3rd: 50
4th: 61
5th: 48
1st: 63

Total for 6 horses: 392 points.
Average points earned per horse: 65
Daily Points: 784

So the promo is 18 full days long - if we do the math

784 points per day x 18 days = 14,122 points

Still short 8,878 points - Tickets are now needed to get extra entries:

1 pass = 3 tickets
3 passes = 9 tickets
5 passes = 18 tickets
10 passes = 40 tickets
20 passes = 90 tickets
50 passes = 250 tickets

Ticket Pack deal to happen later = 1 pass for 6 tickets *best value if you can't spend a lot of passes*

Taking the average number of points from above:

8878 / 65 = 136 horses still needed

Best price for 136 tickets = 32 Passes (90 for 20, 40 for 10, 6 for 2)
If we do this by Ticket Packs alone = 23 passes (23 x 6 = 138)

Average amount of passes = 20 - 30 needed.

Of course, that's using a whole range of horses and scores...If we break it down by constantly getting some other point values - it opens up a world of possibilities:

Say all your horses score in the 90's (Say 92 points)

92 x 6 = 552 points per competition
552 + 552 = 1104 points a day
1104 x 18 days = 19,872 points *only shy 3128 points*

3128 / 92 points = 34 horses needed
Best price for 34 tickets = 10 passes (there are a few ways to hit the 34 ticket mark)
Ticket Pack price = 6 passes (6 x 6 = 36)

So in this case - you only need between 6 to 10 passes.

It's all going to come down to how many points your horses are bringing in per day vs. what prize(s) you want to determine how many passes you'll need to use

Once all 6 horses have run in their race - note the total amount of points you have at present time *this is best done from the first heat (heat 1) on the first day.*

Use this as your average number of points that you'll get per heat.

There are two heats per day - and the promo is 18 full days long. The final calculations end up looking like this:

Heat 1 points / 6 = average number of points per horse entered
Heat 1 points + Heat 1 points = Daily points
Daily Points x 18 days = Total points you'll earn

Point value of prize you want the most - Total points = points you need to make up with tickets

Ticket Points / average points per horse = number of tickets needed to enter more horses.

Once you get your number of tickets - just figure out the best 'value' of passes it will take to reach that amount.

To fill this in with numbers and show an example - I'm at 456 points with no entries left:

456 / 6 = 76 points per horse average
456 + 456 = 912 daily points
912 x 18 = 16,416 total points

23,000 points - 16,416 = 6,584 points short

6,584 / 76 = 86.63 *Round up - 87 horses (tickets) needed*

So I need 87 tickets to get my most wanted prize

If I buy them with the regular ticket deals: 20 passes is my best bet (20 passes for 90 tickets - yes, I lose out on 3 tickets...but otherwise, it's 23 passes (2x 10 passes for 40 tickets, 3 passes for 9 tickets)

If I buy them with Ticket Packs (1 pass = 6 tickets): 15 passes (15 x 6 = 90)

So for me - I'm looking to spend anywhere between 15 to 20 passes depending on how my horses do

...what Sagittarius looks like yet? I'm really hoping to be able to obtain him/her since that's my zodiac of course. Pffft I probably won't be able to without spending 129864 passes though....
