I always loved the modal, but the weird rubber they made it out off is horrible. I will never buy it unless they make it with the normal plastic. I love the shire foal though.

Has anyone noticed that their schleich prices are going up or is it just the stores around me. They raised all the new schleich horses about a dollar. So mad!!!!! (I guess I shouldn't be complaining too much. Toys R Us was selling horse groomers for 88 cents)

Currently wiping all of my Schleich down with a damp cloth... they aren't very clean *cough* glue *cough* nail polish *cough* texta *cough*
And of course they are very dusty. I got the glue off... what? don't look at me like that, they were the glitter twins and I glued glitter on them
Any good ways to keep them in condition?

I'm putting them all on my floor and I'll get a photo of them all at once.

You could make them all little blankets, nothing super fancy just a cover with a head hole. Also try not putting unwanted glue on them are you keeping them on a shelf, or in a box? If you are keeping them on a shelf, try, if you can, to put them far enough away from each other so that there is no Domino effect. If they're in a box, put a layer of fabric or an old T-shirt between each layer.

Some of them have knitted rugs, and I was just thinking I should practice my sewing and make some more..
I also discovered gel pen and crayon on them... the gel pen sort of looks nice as it's sparkly, but the crayon is from like at least 7 years ago... and I am struggling to get it off. Do you know any products that will remove something like that, but not the paint?
And i discovered something terrible! Sharba's paint has come off in a few spots! She's one of my oldest most precious ones! I need to find her rug for her... and paint is coming off my old donkey, though that's not a surprise since she's missing an ear
They're kept on a shelf, since I like looking at them. Yes, I'm very careful not to let mum clean that shelf because she puts them back in the wrong spots and knocks them over

I also remember a few years ago finding chocolate on my pig.. I think I was making it look muddy Luckily it came off.

Crayon? Eek. I'd say just put it in water, then *gently* try to rub it off.

Yup Mum told me to use Eucalyptus and it's working, and not taking the paint off.

She's my unicorn mare, one of the first ones, and she's white, so at least it's not too bad, but it makes her look dirty

not my picture, but she's this one with purple painted mane and tail.. and a lot more scratched and dirty. I found the rug but it's a bit short.. fits the one with crayon (also has paint coming off slightly) better but I'll need to make a new one for them both... and a black one for my friesian mare.

If you wanted to fix her, you could try mixing the exact white color (chances are Sharba isn't white, and has just the tiniest but of gray or cream or tan mixed in), try it to see if it works (then wash it off quickly if it doesn't) and once you find the right color just go over the scratches, then seal it with matte mod podge or something similar.

Also I'm curious about her name. Does it mean something? I've never heard it before.

I try not to keep any of my plastic ponies on a shelf for too long, because then they start collecting dust. Especially in your bedroom because you have all the dead skin cells in your bed sheets after you sleep, and dust is made up of 70-90% of dead skin cells.

I don't encounter dust too much from them being in shelves because i constantly am taking my tiny guys places, so I have this rolling cart that usually stays out in my cottage, but sometimes they come inside. Plus when I go to the park/beach/ocean, my camera case can fit a few of the ponies in it, so I'll rotate them out so I can take photos

I think if you make the acrylic look good, because its just touch ups, acrylic should be fine. You may also want t use blue too, i don't know if it just looks like that because if the lighting or not

I especially liked the old stallion's coloring. The new mare doesn't look realistic, and the new foal is not as nice as the old, in my opinion.

I prefer the old Gypsy Vanners.. I have the old foal and stallion and I think they are so cutes. The new Gyspsy Vanners aren´t so realistic.
