Ugh! I can't find anything about trakehners being gaited... I don't think they are but I think they have a special sort of trot, like, better, smoother, I don't know. I could swear I read in one of my horse breeds books that they were... However they also said albino horses exist and pintos are a breed so they probably lied default smiley xd
I am going to classify him as a cross with a fox trotter and trakhner.

There is such thing as an albino horse and there is a paint horse stud book and registry book, they are considered a paint because they have the body of a qaurter horse but the colored color. Trahkheners probably do have nice smooth gaits though because they are very well bred and have great confo most of the time.

Heres an albino, also considered a perlino.

I can't stand though when people call grey horses white, ugh.

From what I've read, there are no albino horses, as they still have pigment in their eyes. Many people consider perlino/champagne/cremello horses to be albino, but as long as they have pigment in their eyes (particularly the irises) they are not.

Oh, okay, there might be one out there, but they probably are so rare there has only been a few reportings.

So, I asked jumpers about the trahkheners and she said they're warmbloods, aka they are not gaited.
By Retired breeder, 29th June 2015 19:01:32
Yeah it still has some eye color, therefore not albino. Also I said pinto...
By Retired breeder, 29th June 2015 19:18:49
Oh, okay, thought they were the same!

Paint and pinto? No. Pinto is a color, paint is a breed.

Seriously I want to find very thin leather lace somewhere. I need bridles default smiley xd.

Hey I bet you could buy cheap socks somewhere and cut out a blanket, then trim them with ribbon and it could make a really cute patterned blanket!

Once we move I should make a tack room. And more barns. But if I had a decent tack room, I would be working like crazy to fill it. I'd like to make HUGE collections of custom, unique, saddle pads, and also custom unique rope halters, and a boot collection. Then I'd also like to make grooming caddies- although I'm not sure what to make them out of. I guess I'll probably end up using myfroggystuff's idea, but with regular Popsicle sticks and a toothpick.

Oh I thought of more things to make with thin leather lace: boots, stirrup leathers and keepers, breastcollars, etc...

I also thought of a list of things I'd need in order to resculpt manes and tails so I could make my scheich quite my own:
Epoxy
Wire
Embroidery floss
Tacky glue
Hot glue
Sculpting tools
I have everything but epoxy and could get that, but there's always the one thing... In this case: a drill! Maybe my dad could help my with that though default smiley xd

Once I have my stuff back I might actually try my hand at making people. To ride the horses though, not standing ones. If I use my clay, it can't be that hard... Wire base, maybe wrap on some foil for less clay and easier sculpting, then slap on the clay and detail it... The hardest part would be the face (and getting my mom to bake it default smiley xd)

My dad has a heat gun!!! I am going to try and skive the leather I have and make a leather martingal, and running one.

My mare is registered in the Pinto Horse Association. It's actually called a "color breed." Her breed isn't Paint.
