The mare is light blue at the moment but is going to be dark blue once I find my bottle of blue paint and cover her with watered down black. She's going to be a black sabino when finished but it's taking me a while to get there lol

Cool! Are you going to make her like a constellation horse?

No..... I'm trying to make her look like my friend's deceased mare and the foal she was pregnant with at the time, which may take a while

Added a layer of purple (for that deeper shading effect) and her facial markings..... Currently working on dabbing on black paint for the final shade of the body:

Yep! So, everybody make a list of things they wat for 2017, I know a year early, but still, now that schleich has made some huge steps forward!

Anybody have any Schleich shows open? I am so bored!!

Thanks peacock and Val! I'm planning on adding another layer of black (very lightly) just to get her a little darker.... Let's see.... What do I want for 2017? As always, more gaited horses and a saddleseat set, maybe even a show ring with an organ and stuff!

Yep! I wish they made starting gates, thoroughbreds, AQHA's, Endurance horses, barbs, stuff like martingales, but less chunky then what they have now!

Rocky Mountain Horses and Saddlebreds would be great for 2017. Love the 2016 Frisian Stallion and the Mustangs are awesome. Wish Schleich would make a dun mustang.

I would like them to have more morgans. They only have like one morgan, that's a stallion. My friend is mad because she loves morgans, she has one named Tank.
Also better looking Fjords. They barely look like them. I don't care for the mares mane.

True! Teir mustang stallion looks more rocky mountainish than mustangish!

I agree, better tack and fjords. Maybe more variations of the breeds we have instead of just a stallion, mare, and foal model.

More colors too. Like how Breyer has lots of different colors on the same mold, schleich should do that too

Yes! Yes yes yes yes yes! That's one of the reasons I like Breyer (not necessarily better but ya know).

We could have congas! Just like beyers! And a schleichfest!
