Mine was a mare named Teele who had a foal in this time when I first rode her and the foal name was Reede. It's in Estonia that's why these names Teele is like a woman's name and Reede means "Friday" in English.
Kim, the neighbor's horse. I may have ridden a pony at the Stanley Park Zoo when I was even younger but I don't remember getting a name.

A quarter horse gelding named Drew, about a year and a half ago. I still bring him a treat whenever I come to the barn, even though I ride a different horse now. He's a stubborn but sweet boy. Lives for head scratches.

Little white one eyed pony named Ish. No kidding, this guy apparently used to be a show pony, though when his eye got infected they had to remove it and retire him. I absolutely loved this pony despite him being one eyed - actually thought it was the coolest thing ever default smiley xd

I can vaguely remember the other riders all wanting to ride anyone except Ish (keep in mind we were all about 9-10 years old), while I was as happy as a clam riding this pony.

I'd definitely say that my soft spot for blind horses came from this pony.

Bayfare was a gorgeous cream colored mare with grey speckles
First horse I ever rode was name Star. He was a black tobiano Mustang. We lost him to colic several years ago at age 25. He inspired me to continue to pursue my dream of becoming a western performance horse trainer and producer.

Her name was Dharma. She was the most beautiful black Arabian mare. Such a gentle horse, unfortunately my stable only lets beginners ride her.

Blitz
I was four and ended up falling off when my sis took off the lead rope and Blitz took that as a signal to do their usual routine: lope through the pasture and around the trees. Needless to say, I didn't stay on very long. He's still my favorite of all the horses I remember riding. He was more pet dog/babysitter than anything else, which made him the best for a four-year-old kid.default smiley ^)

Slugger
I don’t remember the first time I rode him but my mom has shown me a picture of me riding him at a show for a lead line class when I was super young. When I began to actually pick up the reins myself and learn how to stay on and all the basics I rode a horse named George. I then went back to Slugger and started showing and learning to go faster and more complex stuff. Slugger was a big black 18 year old quarter horse gelding who I’m pretty sure was either 5/8 thoroughbred and 3/8 quarter or 3/8 thoroughbred and 5/8 quarter( I’m pretty sure it was the first one). He was sweet and calm for the most part but he’d have his thoroughbred moments where he’d get prancey or irritated, usually while waiting to go in the ring or if practice was getting boring but never in the ring. George was an easy going, 19 year old, only wanted to walk, super sweet and super lazy yet easy to work with bay gelding. He was so gentle! My younger sister started one him after I moved to Slugger and she had to flap her legs like chicken wings to get him to twitch his ear! It was super cool because they were half brothers and my mom had raised them and was able to watch them grow up!
I believe it would have been either Coin or Shiny. Most likely Coin though.

Mine was named Colt. He was such a good boy. He belonged to a couple that my family knew and sometimes they would babysit me and my sister.

I remember one time my dad came out to watch us ride when we were 3 or 4 years old and I stood between colt's front legs and walked under his belly etc. my dad almost fainted. default smiley xd He was the sweetest horse ever. I miss him so much.
