Daily Objectives: Tips & Tricks

Daily Objectives

You can now complete two daily objectives each day! Some players can earn equus and others passes, depending on your seniority level.

Find your daily objectives on the homepage of the game, which is the page you see after logging into the game.

Completing the daily objectives seven days in a row will give a Horn of Plenty ! You can check on your progress through the gauge bar directly from the “Daily Objectives” page.

Within this thread players who need help, want to help, or just would like to share their progression with the daily objectives are welcome to post here.

All forum rules apply.

Please note that if you want to discuss the feature itself or give feedback on it, we ask that you do so with the dedicated topic thread for new features here: A new year brings new features!

Warm Regards,

The Howrse Team

Did you click edit on your presentation, and make sure to hit save afterward?

not hard at all, they are basically participation trophies. Play the Event and you will get at least one. See the current one going on? Have you had a look around, clicked on banners erc? Did you find the riders store event were we get items of clothing from doing actions with our horses (three lessons and entering 6 comps in a day, really really easy), and have to dress the riders that appear on our event page with the clothes they want according to the picture right next to them? Thats where you get horseshoes currently.

If you click the ? button within the event page, its on the right, and read through the pages, the last page tells you when you get a horseshoe. The first one usually appears after the tutorial, or the first couple of completed rides or whatever the event is at the time.

I have an objective to groom a divine. Is there a way to do that without owning a divine?

none at all I'm afraid. You could make that your next goal, there is always a Divine on offer, either as part of a luck item offer at the weekend, or as an Event prize. You could even save up equus and hunt for one in the sales. Fallabellas usually are quite affordable if you save.

What is a covering offer? I can't quite figure that out...

Hi!! Coverings are when a female horse mates with a male horse. If you have a male horse you can offer a covering, or offer to mate with one of your mares or you can offer a public one for anyone else's mare. If you have a female horse you can cover her with any of the public coverings and once you do she will be in gestation and have a foal within a year.

You can only enter 2 horses a day into each specialty for the Grand Prix. If you have already entered 2 then you wont be able to enter any more today.

they are the four prominently displayed milestones on the beginner objectives page. The things that unlock at 25,50,75 and 100 completed objectives. Remember EC creation unlocked at 25, Direct sales at 50, Grand Prix at 75? So, finish objective 100 and the last one (reserved sales) will unlock.

Okay, guys. I suspect that many newcomers have difficulty completing Objective No. 85 Improve your position in the general ranking by at least one place
Since yesterday, my position has increased by 715 points, but the task is not credited. What else does it need ???!

You will get that one tomorrow as you are currently showing 2 days of seniority. (By tomorrow I mean the day after the next update, which for me happens at 8am on the 4th in Uk)

How do you do objective #39? Win a Golden Horseshoe from a event? How do I do that?
Golden Horseshoes are basically participation trophies for the Events we have constantly on here now. You can get up to 4 horseshoes during an Event, they have their own Trophy on the Trophies page, and they also put you into a draw automatically to win the main prize Divine after the Event.
The Event going on at the moment is the Pranks Wandering Horses Event. It should prompt you every time you log in in the morning to enter the Event, or you can click on the Wandering Horses banner at the top of the page. The last of the help pages for the Event is always the one that shows you when during your participation that you win a Horseshoe. On this one I believe you get one after your first Wandering horse joins you (the tutorial one you can get just by giving Ow's horse an apple during the Event tutorial where you follow a big moving hand that shows you exactly how to follow the tutorial instructions. Embarrasingly easy), and after the 3rd and I think the 7th. You'd be best to check that though.

I just completed the "remove water of youth from a non-special horse" objective and was hesitant because 1. I didn't want to and 2. wanted to ensure I could re-add it/ not lose the item as I worked hard to gain it in the first place. When I clicked to remove it, the prompt didn't say anything about losing the item just that it would complete the objective so I proceeded and am very saddened that is it in fact gone. Can someone confirm that is it gone from my inventory for good or not default smiley :( I would have skipped that objective had I known.

Unfortunately, items removed from a horse do not go back to your inventory.

So I'm stuck on objective No. 99 (sell 500 droppings) I'm 60% through it, but is there a way to getting droppings faster without over feeding horses?
