Daily Objectives: Tips & Tricks

Daily Objectives

You can now complete two daily objectives each day! Some players can earn equus and others passes, depending on your seniority level.

Find your daily objectives on the homepage of the game, which is the page you see after logging into the game.

Completing the daily objectives seven days in a row will give a Horn of Plenty ! You can check on your progress through the gauge bar directly from the “Daily Objectives” page.

Within this thread players who need help, want to help, or just would like to share their progression with the daily objectives are welcome to post here.

All forum rules apply.

Please note that if you want to discuss the feature itself or give feedback on it, we ask that you do so with the dedicated topic thread for new features here: A new year brings new features!

Warm Regards,

The Howrse Team

the horses of players under 30 days seniority dont lose morale when they lose comps. And they seem to wake up with 100% morale as well - I've seen a few players going on about that here.

Try putting your horse to bed with slightly less energy than 20%. Or underfeeding it a little.

Seems like a dumb question, but my next objective says "Get a new trophy". What trophy? from entering a horse into a comp? Thanks!

no, they are participation trophies. If you go to the Achievements menu and click on Trophies you will see a whole list of trophies that you can go for. Clicking or hovering over the pictures will bring up the components that you need to collect to gain the trophy. There are ones for every breed that you can collect by having a horse of that breed with every available coat for that breed for example. The Friesian one is the easiest breed coat trophy, since there is only one coat colour for Friesians

So I have been given an objective that I’m fairly certain is impossible it says “ Put 1 horse whose age ends with 5 months to bed” horses age by two months so there month that there age ends in is always gonna be even. It’s impossible for a horses age on this game end in five months unless there’s a black market item that slows aging down to one month per aging point but I don’t believe that exists. I rely on these objectives for passes considering I don’t pay to play for any game. So please help.

Horses can age month by month if they have a Water of youth. So you need to find a horse with a Water of youth and put it to bed with it's age ending in 5 months.

or, you can be proactive and when you get the objective to remove a water of youth from a non special horse, make sure the horse is an odd number of months old when you remove it, so you can then keep that horse to fulfil the put a horse that is an odd number of months old to bed.

During the tutorial you should be given a chicken. You can go to your inventory, choose the chicken, and add it to a horae of your choice, or from the horses page where you can add items.

If you pop this up as your own topic in the Gameplay Forum, more players may see it and be able to help you better. I'm not big on my comps in my EC so I can't help much there. default smiley (ow)

Anyone know how to get a 2* green saddle cloth?

2* tack is given at random from luck items, in events as prizes, as prizes when you watch the advertising videos (they aren't working at the moment), and can be gifted from friends. There are a couple of Divines that give them (Hanafuda gifts a piece very occasionally, Secret Rainbow gifts a set every time the weather is changeable). There is no way to get a particular colour from any of these ways (apart from the friend gifting thing).

Watch the ad videos on the pass page, keep an eye on events as they often offer coloured tack as prizes, obtain Divines that give coloured tack as prizes, etc. It's unfortunately very difficult to get the one you need when that objective comes up if you don't already have it so steadily building up a hoard of the colours is a great idea.

For right now, you might be able to look through sales for a horse that already had the piece of coloured tack that you are missing?

I'd suggest for a beginner to start them low, even set them as low-level comps or Divine comps for a while. Those offer more equus, which will come in handy as a beginner. If you want them to get better prestige, you need them to run often and have higher skilled horses run in them. So slowly raise the difficulty and enter two of your own horses as often as possible to get them to run more.

Can you collect the HoP's after completing 7 days of objectives in a row? What happens if you do not open the HoP? Do you lose it?

yes, once you have done the 7th day in a row. the word USE appears under the picture of the HoP on the daily objective page. You click that and open the HoP. It cannot be 'collected', just opened. It doesn't have to be opened the day you complete the objectives, but you wont get any new ones until you do open it. I haven't tested how long you can let it sit there without opening it.

Unfortunately we are not allow to ask friends to gift us something in their DMs, as this could be seen as advertising and someone may report you for it. Similarly, we cannot advertise in the public forums either. So it's a bit of a difficult one to get around but a good way to do it in future is gift something small like an apple to friends and hope they get the message to gift back, or use means outside of Howrse (such as Facebook or Discord groups) to ask people to help you complete the objective. default smiley (ow)

Ah, i wasn't aware! Sorry for that then. Sometimes the rules are still a bit unclear to me. I will try gifting things to my friends then and hope for the best. Thank you kindly for informing me on my mistakes and giving advice! default smiley :)

It's not a problem, some of the objectives are difficult to complete! The forums just forbid advertising of any kind unfortunately.

Please remember this topic is for getting help on *how* to complete objectives.

You can't advertise here for other players to give you items, to congratulate you, to loan you things, etc.

See the Achievements tab and go to Trophies. It wants you to achieve one of those trophies on that page.

The easiest and quickest way to complete this one to go to sales and buy a friesian horse. This will complete the coat trophy for that breed, because friesians can only ever be black in colour.
