Finally took the time to crunch numbers to realize that if I don’t spend more passes on this event, I’m only on track to only be at room 58 by the end of the event since I just started playing again on the 21st. as a non pass buyer w/ 220p left rn after last week’s deals finally going to let myself drop out once i get to the upgrade i need at 46 and hop around the different divine mazes for prizes :/

Some events it only shows up on the LAST weekend of the event. This one we've been lucky and had it every weekend so far. So yes, we should definitely get the 8x charge during the last weekend of the event.

I used quite a few passes to make sure I almost finished the main door by the time the others opened up. That allowed me to get through the two divine ones that I already had more than half the fragments for and now I've gone back through the main one and finished it and through again to collect the useful stuff I sacrificed first time through. I'm now starting a 3rd divine one that I probably won't finish but can collect fragments or useful BMIs as I go through. I probably won't break even but I won't be too many passes out of pocket either as I've collected 3 divines and a lot of things I use often plus several TCs. It's the first year I've felt able to do this and it feels like a good strategy for me.

I'm still on Feliz door 93, Ive done no other doors & I still have 1 more upgrade left. I brought some extra energy last weekend, normally the doors events are faily quick & easy I feel like I've progressed so slow is this normal for not having brought much extra energy or am I doing something wrong?

You're not doing anything wrong, it's the event itself. The maze event can feel like a real slog and hard work to get through, and as far as I know it's been like that since it became an in-game event.

I followed Nalu's upgrade guide and have just reached the last door for Feliz.
I should have enough energy to get to Feliz in 21 hours, and still have time to go back and get some other gifts

I don't think I will have to pay to finish the spice, as now I'm on room 26. Standard rooms have yet to take more than 12 hours with full upgrades, so these four rooms would take 48 hours at the most, leaving 2 days to finish the boss room. I did purchase one set at the start, but I don't think it would have made a difference to whether or not I finished on time for free

Last door requires 28 energy. The last few were quite a slog...

I expected as much, as both the love divine and Hen took the exact same amount. ^^ I'm glad to know that all gates appear to have the same amount of points required, even the ones with 30 instead of 25. So that would be the usual 35 hours if this one also takes 5 power points per hit as well.

Sad I have to go through the final door to get Hen when I only need 70ish frags...

Finding Star Anise to be a bit of a slog...few options and lots of energy required for each one, with price points that don't seem to quite match the value. Then again, there have lots of good things offered this promo for decent prices so perhaps just a balance. On room 13 now, hoping to finish but my pass divines haven't been overly generous - some metals should drop today so fingers crossed!

Im glad its not just me on rm 93 its a horseshoe 3 energy and 9 wrapping? I just got a hera pack for the same amount of time. 3 hours 12 wrapping. Wishing it was 8 wrapping i have 4 wrapping power.

Is there 5 tapes between the door I'm at with Feliz and the end? I swear I've not missed any of the tapes, but I stupidly maxed out regeneration and energy capacity, instead of going for regeneration and wrapping.

Going through Star Anise with 3 wrapping power is a slog. My passes are yelling at me x)

I know theres tape at 87, 91 snd 95. Im at 93. I went for wrapping and regeneration. Hope you are at hour and half regeneration

is there some way to find out the energy required to get through Star Anise? if it' already posted in this thread, I cant find it (looked through all the pages!)

The highest regeneration you can get means you get an energy per hour.

I'm at door 99, so it's looking like I'll be able to get Feliz and some extra prizes before this event is over.

According to the guide tape is:


- Purple Tape rooms: 5, 11, 16, 19, 23, 26, 30, 34, 38, 43, 46, 51, 57, 61, 64, 68, 71, 74, 78, 81, 84, 87, 91, 95

Now, being in room 82, that leaves me with four tapes.

Buuut the last energy update requires five?

Have you all been able to max out the upgrades? I'm starting to wonder if I missed one, sometime back

I'm almost at room 99 for Feliz so I should get him. I got Morchella yesterday. I am planning to spend passes this weekend to finish off the passes for the art divine. I will certainly be happy getting three divines, two of which are my first in their group.

As someone who has fully upgraded everything I can confirm it's possible to do it. However, if you're one short that means you've either missed one along your path somewhere, you didn't participate in the Secret Santa or you missed the tapes in the advent calendar windows.

I can’t give you an exact number, but I started that portal the morning of the 26th and I’ll be through door #28 in six hours. I bought 2-3 8-energy boosters along the way, and have a fully upgraded bushy. Hope this helps!

It sounds like it might be about 250 total hours for Star Anise. We have a few days left so I think if I get all the 8x hour packs during the weekends I should be able to get Anise within a reasonable range of passes. Thank you all for the information

I have finally reached room 100, so in the next 30 hours or so I'll have Feliz.

I did participate in Secret Santa, and I DID get one of the tapes from the advent calendar!

Do you recall if it was just the one in the calendar?

I'm asking because I skipped ONE calendar window because the price crossed over TWO MILLION for what I assumed was gonna be droppings or a saddle pad.

I'll be so miffed if it turns out there was more than one tape in there.
