I wonder what part of the instructions people are getting confused at? I thought it was quite clear It does make it a bit annoying to scroll through!

Also, unfortunately I think that the image hosting a lot of people used had an expiration date for those pics, since a lot of the images are now broken that were definitely working before

I'm debating waiting until the 16th to post my combo? I'm not sure I buy this who "no, the first people won't get more votes." I feel like the combos in the middle pages will get less votes because very few people are going to click through all of the pages to vote.

Does anyone have thoughts?

I didn't pay attention to the last one, but did they announce the winners? Were there more winners from the beginning and end pages?

Also, does anyone remember the total number of submissions in the last contest?

There were around 3-4 pages in the last coat combo contest. I don't recall the number of replies, although some would have been the results, and correction posts by admin. This edition is up to more pages and replies, but I haven't counted the actual number of entries.

No matter what, there are going to be entries in middle pages. Players who enjoy looking at different combos and really appreciate the spirit of the contest will look at each page and entry, although I know there's no guarantee those players will be in the majority voting.

Looking at current votes isn't terribly accurate, as some players may wait until after the entries close to vote. I'm waiting until that point so I can just go through all at once, and it makes it easier to keep track which I voted on already. Classic makes it easy to see that, but mobile does not.

Well thank you to CowboyCrazyGirl for the video - I used Postimage as suggested in the instructions from AmOwzing but things didn't come up the way presented, and also still had to tweak a little from the video but, an hour or so later, finally got things to work out.

As for the voting, with all due respect, if voting is supposed to start on the 17th, when entries close, but voting that is done before that time is counted, it seems the earlier entries, having more days and, therefore, more opportunities to be voted on, would have a SLIGHT advantage.... still this is all in good fun and looking forward to what everyone comes up with.

Ones in middle might get less votes but last time the one after mine won. I wish i could move mine a bit over to the left the silver ga. I just figure except for the mazes she will fly without wings.

How do I resize the image? When I do a test post to my EC forum, it looks good, but when I post that same image to the event post, it's too big, and you need to scroll over to see the whole image (which ruins the whole effect). What am I doing wrong?

I tried to post my imagine again, on the contest page but it wasnt working. I looked at my previous post and it was taken away. I am sorry but this is totally unfair when the site isnt user friendly on how to post things.

It looks like you didn't post a screenshot of the horse.

You have to take a screenshot to get the horse and background downloaded on your device. Then upload that image to an image hosting website such as postimages. Then get the png link to the image the site gives you, and you can use the little image shortcut tool just above the Howrse forum text box to paste the link, and it will put the link in the tags for you.

You can hit the preview button before posting to be sure your image link works.

If that doesn't work, please let us know what isn't working (getting the screenshot, the image link, etc)

You can test your image in the events forum (or try this topic first), by clicking the "preview" button under the textbox.

Depending on the image host site you use, it lets you select the size option when you choose your image to upload.

Howrse likely has nothing to do with it. Hosting services often delete images themselves after a while, and the site simply has nothing left to display.
