Hello everyone,

Due to popular demand, we are hosting another combo contest!

You will need to make your best Golden Apple + Helios' Ray combo, with the Winter Holidays theme.


IMPORTANT:

We have 2 topics for this contest:

↪ This topic, where you can discuss the contest and ask questions.

↪ The [Contest] Winter Holidays Combo topic, where you will only be able to post your combo and vote.



How to participate



↪ The theme for this contest is: Winter Holidays.

↪ Choose one Golden Apple and Helios' Ray combo, with this theme, and post it on the [Contest] Winter Holidays Combo topic.

↪ When submitting your entry, you also need to:
➞ Share the Golden Apple and Helios' Ray names and authors.
➞ Share the name and the link to the submitted horse.

↪ You can only participate once!

↪ It's prohibited to advertise and solicit votes (via PM or other messages).



FAQ


↪ These are the only items you can use to participate:
➞ Golden Apple
➞ Retired Golden Apple
➞ Helios' Ray
➞ Unlimited Helios' Ray
➞ Ow's Helios' Ray
➞ Harmony Pack

↪ Do I need to own the combo, or can I use the combo from another player?
You need to own the combo used to participate in the contest. You also need to post the link to that horse on your submission message.

↪ How does the voting phase work? If I click on the hearts before the deadline, will they count for voting?
Yes, the votes will still count.

↪ Won't the first people submitting get more votes than those who submit later?
The voting stage will last for a few days, and we will also send a private message to remind everyone to vote, so it shouldn't be the case.

↪ I don't know the names of the creations and the authors of the coat or background. How do I find this out?
If you already have a horse with the combo, go to its page and click on their Golden Apple and Helios' Ray. It will show you the name of the creation and the author.

↪ How do I post an image in the forum?
You can find the tutorial on the [Contest] Winter Holidays Combo topic.

↪ 1st place - Newest Japanese Christmas horse + 75 Pass seeds

↪ 2nd place - Divine horse Winter + 50 Pass seeds

↪ 3rd place - 1x Harmony Pack + 50 Pass seeds

↪ 4th place - 1x Golden Apple + 25 Pass seeds

↪ 5th place - 1x Helios' Ray + 25 Pass seeds

↪ 6th to 10th place - 25 Pass seeds



Deadlines


You can submit your entry from now and until 2025-12-17 11:00.

The voting phase will take place between 2025-12-17 11:00 and 2025-12-22 09:00.

The winners will be announced once we have the results.

These times are adjusted to the time zone you selected on your account.

If you're on Classic, just above the typing/text box are several icons. Click the one that is 3rd from the right (looks like a broken link/paperclip), and paste the link in the top box, with the text in the bottom.

The other topic has screenshots in the main post, under "how to upload image" and "how to find your horse's link"default smiley :)

That means it's retired. You'll have to go to the Creation Directories to find the name.

Sort the landscapes by date so that you'll see the oldest landscapes first, then scroll through until you find the landscape image

Why is it when I download the image it looks different than when it does on my horse's page? Can someone help me with this? Can I just screenshot it?

It's a retired landscape, so it probably has to do with the old formatting not being compatible with the download image feature. It does the same with horses I have with retired landscapes

I’m using google photos (which I did for the last one) and can’t seem to get my image posted. I’ve tried pasting the image link from google by way of the photo icon and it states “match requested format”. I’ve also tried the link option and it just shows the url info. Can someone help me out? I’m technically challenged today for some reason! default smiley :-))

It needs to have the .png link, which I always have trouble finding with google photos. I think there is an option when clicking the image to create a sharable link, although I'm not sure if it's forum compatible.

Thank you Legacy Ann. The link I’m getting is from the “create link” share option. I can’t for the life of me remember what I ended up doing to make it work last time. I think I had to type in the.png somewhere …I’ll keep trying! Need more coffee! Thanks again!

I recommend using the postimages site, as it's really easy to upload, and you don't need to sign-up unless you'd like to make it easier to find your uploaded images later.

There's also a resize option so the image will be better suited for the forums, (I used the 640x480 option) as many defaults will be rather large

Can my post be deleted? The image isn't sized the way I expected - for some reason it posted differently in this forum than when I tested it in my EC forum default smiley :s

How do i keep link to finish it up i have to copy link and limited edition coat is ❅ שєรєlé שเคภ๏ςє ❅ by Foxi. I gad to the link up but had to copy snd paste the name. Then i have to copy link to poinsettia.

Your coat already has over 20 votes. Instead of deleting it, I can edit it to add the right image size. Please post your image on this topic, and then I can edit your message on your other topic.default smiley (ow)
