The Crazy Friday sales!

HellOw everyone!

The Crazy Friday sales will return soon!

There are three different types of Sales:

Direct sales: Different horses will appear throughout the day, but only one of each will be available. The fastest wins the sale! Limited to one purchase every twelve hours.

Auctions: Place the highest bid in Equus to win the divine horse of your dreams! Limited to one purchase every twelve hours.

Reserved sales: Every eight hours, check out a new batch of horses in the Reserved sales tab. These horses will be available to you during this time only, with a limit of one purchase per horse, but you will have the possibility to buy one of each horse offered.

All Crazy Friday sales will be accessible from a separate dedicated hub to prevent any confusion with other sales happening at the same time.

Saffron fragments

With every purchase made during Crazy Friday, you'll earn points that will help fill up a loyalty meter. Reach different levels to get Saffron Fragments.

The sales will start on 2025-11-21 09:00 and will end on 2025-11-24 09:00.

This time matches the time zone chosen on your account.

⚠️ The full program of the sales will be shared when the sales begin.

Good luck,
The Howrse Team

Can we expect the full reserved sales schedule a day or two in advance again this year? It was very helpful last year. .

The Black Friday sales have the lowest divine prices ever offered, outside of Ascent. They're certainly not designed for all types of players, but for those who like acquiring divines, this is The Event Of The Year.

Definitely the event of the year. I started saving equus months ago. I've got enough passes banked for a couple of divines, but I have most of the spoilered ones. I don't want to buy duplicates unless it's a really good pass dropper, so hopefully the unknowns will be more interesting.

I'm excited to finally get Saffron though!

My final goal is 35 million for this year. I've got roughly 30 million so far if we count my inventory stock as well, so 35 should be doable with another 10 300000 equus exchanges next week, plus crafting and divine competitions.

I luckily have saffron already, however another one i wouldnt pass up. However Im not the most eager to get more divines I dont really need. So its all up in the air until I see what's gonna be out there for me. Auctions I feel will be a nightmare, so reserved sales and directs. Its my first time doing this, that I can remember and im interested to see how it goes

Unsure if I'll be able to participate, since I got two of the Grails a couple weeks ago and don't have many passes left. Certainly I don't have enough equus. I'll probably look in to see the bidding wars though, that's always fun. default smiley xd

I'll only be spending if something I haven't got and want turns up in reserved sales. I can't be doing with the auctions and am never fast enought to catch the direct ones that pop up - they never even show up for me as someone younger and with faster internet always beats me to it. Save me money though if I;m too slow default smiley :d

I think the black friday sales perfectly exemplifies how much more excessible divines have gotten. I'm a non pass buyer and for me at least I see a massive shift when looking back at previous iterations:

2019: Didn't know about it, no passes saved up.
2020: Guessed it would happen again, managed to save around a thousand passes and got a love divine.

2021: The Big change - since 2020 I had the divine Quindecim and got 1500 passes from him earlier in the year, for a total of 2000 passes. 2 pass giving divines.
2022: Again the Quindecim passes, saved 2400. 2 pass giving divines.
2023: Had 2000 mostly from Quindecim, bought grails. (Also won Gold from inventory items!)

2024: The second Big change - the Ascent, since late 2023. Suddenly divines were much more affordable (for me ~900 passes for a full rotation of four divines!) which meant that when they came around in luck items I already had them and didn't spend any passes!
Also many luck item-giving divines were offered (and I played multiple rotations to get them) which meant that when I did try for divines in luck items I often could get by using only inventory items, which furthered lessened my pass use.

This led to 5000 passes saved. I managed to complete the grails = 15 hops/month! Whenever a pass giving divine is in the hops (even the limited ones like wilds) I've been able to get multiples just using inventory hops!

2025: This year I currently have 14 700 passes saved up! I already had most of the offered divines from items this year and those I didn't have I could get mainly using inventory items. And I spent more than 4000 passes trying for Sapphire last week, so the number could have been even bigger.

How is that for an exponential growth?

TL;DR: The Ascent have drastically lowered the prices of divines, leaving more passes for other things! Also Quindecim was very helpful for saving before then.

The entire point of black friday is to be a cash grab. Pretty much all the local shops (here) and even the online delivery ones (...here) drop their prices to the lowest prices of all time to encourage people to buy their stuff. Howrse is no different there - you can buy divines for 1-2k passes when it would normally cost 5-8k passes, or 2.5-4k passes when the normal cost is closer to 10-15k. It's the sale of the year. Ignore it if you want, but you're only missing out as a non-pass buyer because you simply won't get better prices unless you luck out... And save up in advance if you want to participate in the future because you probably won't gather enough resources overnight.
______

I didn't really put horses up for sale for most of this year, so I may sit out of the auctions. I don't know how much oats and whatnot I have in my inventory though - I usually have at least 10mil that I sell while bidding, so maybe I've got a few stockpiles. I guess I'll find out when I start eying divines that I want default smiley xd

But I've been saving for reserveds... This week, several of my pass droppers dropped, so maybe my whole farm is excited to find out who the new arrivals may be! I'm hoping that there'll be some good buys! If there aren't, then maybe I'll buy a few love divines seeing as how I won't buy them full price. I've been wanting saffron for a really long time too. I couldn't afford him during his initial release and I didn't luck out while trying for him. So I've got at least 1 divine that I'm looking forward to so far!

Although, I'm definitely not looking forward to the stress that comes with the sale...
______

Does anyone have an updated drop rate list for all the pass droppers...? I don't know where the spices fit in. Or any of the other new pass droppers. I haven't been keeping up with them because I'm still refusing to cough up for the Crown, so I don't even check what's offered in there in the first place. Is saffron worth it? How does he compare to Jupiter, Io, Sapphire and Jade? And the others? I know Clove is just a disappointment that drops 30p a month... so less then onyx and the other middle tier gemstones. But where do the rest come in? And the metals? There are so many pass droppers on this game now that it's actually difficult to keep track... I think there were even some mythological ones that I forgot about default smiley :o

What also never fails to happen are the players that complain because they can't get an auction, yet didn't put in the effort to save up. The auctions are expensive, they start expensive, some even along the lines of a million equus, it just comes with the territory. If you want to learn how to save up for the sales, note the shared advice of those of us that have been doing this for years, as we know how to save up and make the most of these sales. Don't just put us down by saying things like we are "blinded by our wealth" or that we "don't know what it's like to be poor", as our wealth didn't pop outta nowhere. Those of us that share advice want to help you, we aren't doing it just to show off. default smiley :)

Well, right now I have the most equus that I’ve ever had, but this will get me nowhere for Black Friday. default smiley (lol)

I am very grateful for the reserved sales and I hope there will be something for passes that I want to add to the collection!

I'm so glad I stopped buying RCs in sale for eq cause now I'm finally able to save eq for the auctions. Not that I'll get much from it, maybe 1-2 divines with what I plan to save then when I sell my inventory I saved up.

Atp seeing the complaints from people who knew about the BF sales but didn't bother to save any passes or any eq is HILARIOUS!
There's genuinely no excuse! You can get 10,950p every 365 days from objectives, and over 12mil eq every year from raising longhorn cattle (much more if you craft with the leather instead of selling immediately). If you start saving right after the sales you'll easily have enough for around 5-9 divines with the 10k and at least 1 auction divine with 12mil depending on the divine.

Hey I am in the same boat but the bright side is worst case scenario we’ll be rich bums at the end of this and be even better off for next year default smiley xd. It’s win win!

I blew all my passes trying to get Sapphire so I’m just gonna have to buy some, they had my number there. Oh well lol.

I've been looking forward to this weekend for months! This is the most equus I've ever saved up after realizing 10m last year wasn't going to cut it. Really excited for next week and to cross more divines off the list default smiley :)default smiley (y)

This year I was very casual, as the account isn't what I would consider wealthy in resources. I'm honestly quite impressed that, in a little over 7 months, I have been able to put away over 30 million equus, especially considering I only started saving my on hand reserve about 3 weeks ago. It's just proof that it can be done if you put your mind to it. I'm not sure how hard I will push it next year, as I am trying to be more casual, but I know it will likely be quite a bit more.

This is the first time I’ve heard of the sales as I’ve always normally played for about a week then gone offline for months default smiley :o ive only been active daily since feb this year.

Can anyone tell me the how much horses are estimated to be in the sales and what the prices normally bump up to in auctions based on previous sales? Just so I can get a rough idea if it’s worth me trying to save up some more. I have absolutely no idea what’s coming or what to expect so any advice is greatly appreciated default smiley :d

On that note im quite exited to see what’s coming and experience a new event for myself on Howrse. I best start doing some research on what divines im wanting to try be quick default smiley :-))

This is what I want to know too. I don't ever bother with auctions or directs; internet is too slow to compete. But I would love to have a small heads up on the reserved sales
