The Crazy Friday sales!

HellOw everyone!

The Crazy Friday sales will return soon!

There are three different types of Sales:

Direct sales: Different horses will appear throughout the day, but only one of each will be available. The fastest wins the sale! Limited to one purchase every twelve hours.

Auctions: Place the highest bid in Equus to win the divine horse of your dreams! Limited to one purchase every twelve hours.

Reserved sales: Every eight hours, check out a new batch of horses in the Reserved sales tab. These horses will be available to you during this time only, with a limit of one purchase per horse, but you will have the possibility to buy one of each horse offered.

All Crazy Friday sales will be accessible from a separate dedicated hub to prevent any confusion with other sales happening at the same time.

Saffron fragments

With every purchase made during Crazy Friday, you'll earn points that will help fill up a loyalty meter. Reach different levels to get Saffron Fragments.

The sales will start on 2025-11-21 09:00 and will end on 2025-11-24 09:00.

This time matches the time zone chosen on your account.

⚠️ The full program of the sales will be shared when the sales begin.

Good luck,
The Howrse Team

Hmm not a great lineup, but I guess I'll get Apelotis (or however you spell his name) and definitely one, maybe two of the offered spices

Does anyone know how Cinnamon and Tumeric stand up to each other? Cinnamon gives ten more passes, but does Turmeric's quicker drop speed make up for that or..?

Does howrse seriously think I'm interested in seeing chimeras and pets or winds in the reserveds??? I don't even board my winds, so I couldn't care enough to get more and I'm definitely not wasting passes on them. The chimeras and pets are always overpriced, so unless I win them from events or HoPs, I'm not interested in more. Supernova's drop rate is absolutely pathetic.

Maybe I'll coax myself into buying some spices...

This sale lineup is horrendous. Directs are nearly impossible to get when you actually want them. Auctions cost a fortune... they're the only way I'll buy chimeras and whatnot that are not worth wasting passes on.

This is pathetic. I'm very disappointed at what I see so far default smiley (n) Granted, I don't know the perks of most of these, but I recognize them from the weekend offers, meaning that I have so little interest in them that I don't care enough to remember their perks because I would've checked during their weekends. Well, I'll be happy if I have passes leftover after this. I'll try for directs, but those may not even pop up... maybe I'll go through the other horse's perks again and I'll see someone that I like.

Oh well, at least I'll be able to buy maze treats after this because I was so busy that I forgot this game exists until now. Don't know if that's a plus or a minus after seeing this pathetic lineup because I wasn’t expecting to have any passes left after this weekend. Then again, I'll try for saffron and that'll probably leave me broke... we'll see what happens.

Wow! I've been saving all year too. I am not crazy about the lineup either. I might go for the Christmas divines, Celeris and maybe a spice, but that's about it. I might be able to just save my passes and equus this year.

Same here. Surprised and totally disappointed. These are the series I was saving my passes for: Metals, Gems, Rainbows, Solars, Egyptians. Now let's check one more time if I get any of those from the reserveds... Won't be participating in directs as in my opinion this is a terribly unfair type of sale (one fast person can get several copies of the same valuable divine while the others are left with nothing, do I get it right?). I'm not sure if I'd be fast or slow, I just dislike it so much I don't even want to try. Maybe I'll be getting something from the auctions, but my equus reserve is so limited, especially as it comes to the valuable divines. Pets, Chimeras, trophie divines, Zodiacs (sorry if somebody needs them), Winds in the reserveds? That's a joke. Of Winds, no Lips or Caicias? Are those considered to be too valuable even for these grand festive once-a-year Sales? And Saffron (which a lot of players are really interested in, including myself) is probably going to cost 100 k passes (that much was needed last year to fill the meter, no?)... So good bye Christmas hopes for me, I guess.

The fact there's so many low-end trophy Divines is really insulting, too. I've never heard of anyone who wanted even their first free Skinfaxi and yet they wasted a slot in one of their biggest sales of the year on him. :/

Now THAT is beyond absurd. Last year, there were fragments in directs for 990p(?) and you could buy TCs to get the divine.

I don't think I've ever seen a divine priced at 100k. The closest would be devoted indigo who gave 2-3 fragments per HoP or slepinir priced at 21k.

100k is beyond ridiculous. Jade is priced at 15-16k max and he's the most expensive divine now that they dropped the slepinir price after all the complaints. 10k may still fly. But 100k would just earn Howrse an uncountable number of contact us complaint tickets and no profit whatsoever. Nobody will cough up the passes for that.

@ ShadowKokufu

Most likely they meant 10k passes, not 100k. Knowing how much it costs me to fill up the fragment meters all the time, I would say with the worst luck possible it would be about 12k to get the Shafran divine. So 10k sounds about accurate.

As nice as Saffron is, 14 fragments per titan's is ridiculous. She shouldn't have the same price point as a divine like Jade or Balios. I think I will pass aside from the meter fragments, as two spice divines have been confirmed for reserves.

Sorry for the confusion ShadowKokufu. default smiley ;) I didn't mean the usual fragment meter which you fill by opening Luck BMIs, but the Loyalty meter of the Crazy Friday Sales. What I meant was that one should spend 100 k passes on other divines to get a 'free' Saffron. That was the case last year, wasn't it? I recall having heard quite a few complaints about that. Correct me if I'm wrong, please. default smiley :)

Nope. Howrse definitely would not have charged 100k for a divine. 10k will fly. 100k will just cause a mass complaint riot directed at contact us. Hell, players had their mass complaint riot when devoted indigo was in the HoPs even though they had a reaaaallly long time to save. 100k passes is outright absurd. That said, I did not have the passes to fill that meter anyway so I'm not sure of the actual total needed to fill it because I never tried to. But I can say for sure that the forums would have told me if it was that high because it would've been full of complaints. And I would've remembered the forums being full of complaints about the price because I take note of stuff like that. Prices are important... and as I said, Howrse usually maxes out their price around 16k passes. 100k is far, far past 16k.

Unless you're talking equus like in the cards events? But I haven't even looked at the cards flash sales in years so I can't confirm anything there. They're too equus heavy to be of interest to me. I don't remember if there's pass sales for the cards because I have never considered paying passes for cards to be an option, so I never really checked or I just ignored them and forgot that they exist. But I think the jackpot on the cards meter is a diamond joker, not a divine horse...

The "free" Saffron jackpot, if you spent only passes, would cost 50,000 passes, but you can supplement it with equus as much as you like, and this is in addition to any Divines you buy so you aren't just spending that much on a Saffron alone, it's a bonus for big spending.

There’s no need to argue about this, they give us the ratio for loyalty points, it’s all simple math.

Ok, so, the ratio of passes to loyalty points is 50 passes spent per loyalty point. You need 1000 loyalty points to fill up the meter, ergo you need to spend 50k passes to get Saffron from passes alone.

Every 250k equus is also 1 loyalty point, so for every 10 million dropped in the auctions that’s 40 loyalty points.

So if you were to drop 100 million in auctions, that’s 400 out of 1000 loyalty points, and you’d have to spend 30k passes.

Well he only costs 14.4k passes if you don't luck out in the TC and start with a completely empty meter, so I don't see why anyone would spend 30k... I know that I'll be using TCs because the reserveds lineup is almost all junk. Unless I win something from directs and I don't have enough passes for TCs. 14.4k is on par with jade, so it's not that insane.

50k to fill a meter is beyond ridiculous. And you're speaking of 30k passes like it's somehow any better than 50k... I don't even know how you can afford 30k default smiley (lol) I have never had more than 50mil equus on my account at one time so far, so filling the meter by buying divines is off the table.

You have enlightened me to just how much cash pass buyers spend on this game to fill meters... I'm in shock default smiley :o I never realized it was that expensive default smiley (d)

I never said it was “affordable”, I was pointing out that the math was clear. Nor that I have any intent whatsoever to fill the meter myself. Nor did I ever imply that 30k passes is “better”, simply that was how much would remain to fill the meter even after dropping a significant amount of equus in auctions. Because math is math, and it doesn’t care about “better” or “worse”.

The person who brought it up was stating the amount needed to fill the loyalty meter (100k, which was a bit high, but was also based off of a year-old memory), which is the only thing being discussed here, so anything to do with using TC’s is entirely beyond the scope of the discussion.

And the loyalty meter is not something you use to dump your passes into like a Money Hole to light them on fire. You were already spending your passes and/or equus anyway on the sales anyway, the loyalty meter is simply, as crookedstar pointed out, a bonus. Some people may decide to buy a few more divines to hit the next level, but nobody is going in with the intent to fill the loyalty meter, they are filling the loyalty meter as a consequence of already intending to buy a big ol’ pile of divines.

It's absolutely insane for Saffron. She doesn't give HALF what Jade does default smiley :(

But the meter is set this high because they expect you to take part in the Crazy sales madness.

My issue with the 14.4k price point is that Jade usually drops 220-300 passes per month on average. while Saffron will drop that roughly every 55-60 days. While she is the superior spice, she should not be priced the same as a divine that drops over twice as much on average in the same time frame and only requires being woken up and bedded. At most, she should be 10k through just luck items, but even that is pushing it.

This is why I'll gladly just take my 600 fragments after spending 35+ million equus and the rest in passes, as I'm actually getting good divines alongside it that will benefit my game. While it will be a lot more pricey, the divines are worth way more than whatever things I end up walking away with from the titan's. While I won't get her this way, I'll have a great start on the meter the next time she comes around.
