Cards: 20 years

In just 10 days, Howrse will be 20 years old! It almost feels surreal to say it out loud.

Enjoy a new set of cards showcasing the evolution of the game and some community favorite elements with the Cards event!

This event will end on 2025-09-15 14:00.

Fireworks will be available until 2025-09-16 14:00.

Managed to get a Diamond joker card right off the bat! Wondering if it's better to hold on to it for a bit or trade it in for the staff right away?

Hold on to it! Imagine you end up collecting all the puzzle pieces except one diamond card. You can always use it for the staff at the end of the event.

In 2020 with the Anniversary event. It was a trip down memory lane with old-style objectives, with the final prize being Quindecim

you should not be able to get 2 or more Vigniti. they shouldn't be offered in the sales.

I admit I probably contributed to the problem by jumping a silver from 680k to 750k but bidding wars are basically impossible on mobile and the desktop site is a pain to use on your phone, and I don't have the most time between classes right now... :'v
(I make a lot of leather to save for a quick equus injection but have never really been able to do these auctions. they should go down to like 20-50k after a few days)

I'm going to throwing out my PSA info:
1. if you get all of the cards you can you will get EVERY bronze and silver card. you will be swimming in duplicate bronze cards. do you really need to spend almost 2mill on a card you will probably get 3 times for FREE.
2. your bids anytime before like 60 seconds left are NOT going to win unless you bid some insane amount. no chance. so why bother. trust me it ain't going to win.
3. why are you bidding the amount they tell you. up the bid by 1e. Yes understand in the last 30 seconds. but there's 5 minutes left why are you upping a bid that has NO chance of winning anyway up by a ton.
4. if you don't listen to 3 and 4 all that guarantees is you are going to pay MORE.

5. save your jokers til the end or til you get all the cards of that level. that way you make sure you use it on something you don't get later. or if you end up with all the cards of the level you can pick the best prize card for it

Most players will just bid the given amount because it's a pain to have to change it yourself if you're in a bidding war, or if you're on a smaller mobile device. Or you risk accidentally adding an extra number and overbidding.

Wow, this even is really cool! I'm a returning player from way back in the day, and getting the "lost items" cards really brought back some memories.
The turnip definitely made me remember the old layout. default smiley (8)
A lot has changed since returning. This card game will be my second event, and it's cool to be apart of Howrse's 20 year celebration. Good time to return default smiley 8-)

Happy playing everyone.

His perk doesn't stack, so getting two would just be a waste as far as I know.

Don't buy cards with passes until the last 3 or 4 days of the event. They almost always double the perks during that time, so you can get 6 cards for 95 passes instead of just 3 cards. Don't rush on spending your passes until you know you'll need to buy cards.

My tip is to not trade diamonds until the final 4 or 5 days. You only need 3 for the puzzles and 1 for the prize cards. If you do end up being one of those players that ends up swimming in them, wait to see what happens. The equus it costs is a lot to spend just to end up getting a duplicate later on in the event. Especially when 4/5 days is more than enough time to trade any duplicate diamonds you end up with. The earlier trades would be better spent on the lower rarities, as they are a lot easier to manage if you do end up with duplicates. That said, I wouldn't trade bronze cards at all, we get 2 per day as first login and first activity will always result in them, so you should get all of them.

Eolus' Wind - does anyone remember what this did? I remember it because I've been on the site almost sixteen years but I can't remember for the life of me what it does.

I'm pretty sure it was a bonus! Can't remember what bonuses it gave exactly.
