There are three types of jokers:  Reminder: Shows 1 to 5 tiles you've seen before in the game.
 Family Ties: Shows all tiles from the same group for the level.
 Crystal Ball: Shows 3 new tiles you haven't seen yet.

Bad luck is rampant on this one.

Definitely down to luck. I'm about to start 14 (no passes spent) and am methodical in how I do it, keeping a plan of what I've found. I always do it this way and usually finish without needing to spend passes or, if the final prize is good, maybe a few spent on the last couple of boards.

Yeah I was somehow able to flip exactly half of the tiles on my one board without finding a single match. Bad luck is rampant on this one. That does mean that tomorrow you will have no problem finishing that level  (Assuming you keep track)

NL server: on level 16, with 10 unknown tiles.
INT server: on level 15 with 3 unknown tiles. i understand that. just surprised someone would have enough really good luck to be a full level ahead of me this far into the game. So, yeah, it happens. Maybe they've had a bit more luck matching pairs at the first flip. I know I did on the NL server, so I'm ahead there. I am also good at this game and I keep notes. It's just that little bit more luck sometimes that gives someone a boost in this event. But the luck may turn, for both, and then you'd be on track again.

For example: just 'horse' is not enough, a day later there appeared to be not just a pinkish/purple horse, but also a brown one, a white one, a zebra, a pega, a uni...

Level 17 now with 2 tiles flipped
I am using the 5000e flip button every time I turn a pair. I've noticed that a lot of pairs tend to be next to each other, or in opposite corners, so I always flip those pairs - I've got a lot of matches that way!

About halfway through level 17 myself after using today's lives.

i describe them and i do color. the hard one is the new set of symbols. how to describe them. For the black ball (or whatever it is) with a number 1 and a brown cap, I draw a circle with a 1 in it. And for the saddle with the brown starred cap I draw a (very basic, LOL) cap with a star in it. The first time this game came out, I hand drew grids. Ever since, I've screenshotted the tiles and write on the screenshot as I flip tiles. I work methodically through the board and only start when I have enough lives to finish it.
I'm currently unstarted on board 17 with 7 lives.

On level 19, no passes used, really want sparks but having no luck with the crowns

I received 18 for sparks and chronos timer. Now i have to check my lives and see if im starting next one today

It might be best financially to only open the crown you win to save money or after getting all spark fragments from the game. Check date event is over if you factor in fragments in objectives and then buy them. Just isnt 40ish fragments for every luck item you open.

i'm on 19 with 4 flipped. made good progress today.

Just completed level 20 and got the Harmony Pack.
 So far I have bought new lives 3 times. First one time (3 lives) in the beginning and later 2 times (6 lives each). I am trying not to use anymore passes and survive till the end.

I'm on level 22, spent a few passes along the way to get more lives as I can't show self restraint sometimes

I'll complete level 20 tomorrow, no passes spent!
It's taken me 2 days to complete tho
