It's about time the NIB breeders had their own corner of the world default smiley ;)

The NIB FAQ:

What is a NIB horse?
A NIB horse is a horse that is not inbred; every horse in its pedigree appears only once (with the exception of Ouranos and Gaia). Horses with "Horse Disappeared" in their pedigree are generally not accepted by NIB breeders unless the horses in question were bought before the horses disappeared and have verifiable pedigrees.

Are there green star NIB horses?
These horses have lower GP than green stars and other top horses, as not inbreeding limits the breeding availability and is slower to progress than breeding brothers to sisters and so forth.
**Misabel edit: The first Green star NIB horse was created on February 21, 2011 - a 6th generation Connemara pony with a star in stamina. He was the end result of a lot of hard work and effort, but now that some dedicated breeders have shown it can be done, we all have something to shoot for!

Are NIB horses considered better than green stars or inbred horses?
Goodness, no! Nobody here is attempting to make that claim. Just like the Zero GP horses, these players choose to play the game in their own challenging way.

How can I get involved with NIB breeding?
It's simple! Start by purchasing a few foundation horses, or horses whose pedigrees can be tracked down and verified as non-inbred. Then carefully breed them to create foals with good GP's and skills that are not inbred!

I have some fillers, where do you need 'em? default smiley (m)
By Retired breeder, 20th January 2010 12:05:32
I haven't gotten technical enough for fillers yet default smiley (lol)
By Retired breeder, 20th January 2010 17:24:56
I would love to help out with 'fillers', but I am not sure I have any. What makes a good 'filler'?
Morning, not entirely sure what makes a good filler. Horses of high skill but terrible health (fire has been a filler in several comps with Rowens horses as she has 50 health default smiley xd)

WooHoo!!! Soaring Skies won two comps while I was away and is now 100 BLUP default smiley :-))

Good job gaff winning that auction while I was sleepin default smiley ;)

Hey those of you with arabians, just started speed training Torka. He is 9yrs at the moment and fully bolded in everything except stamina which only needs training left. Waiting on 18 more wins and/or for his comps to finish running before aging him anymore default smiley :-)) Hoping I will have a fully BLUP'd foundation before 10!

Rowen I see you are all over them trot races again default smiley ;)

*sigh* waiting on 32 races to run for 11 more wins is really really aggravating I want them all done NOW so that I can age him one more day and have him BLUP'd (hopefully). I have him at 9yrs 10months, fully bolded, 9 wins, and 370% skills. Once done I will age Torka to around 20-25years old and he should be very close to if not over 400% skills default smiley ^)

Will post a link to him once he is all done default smiley :-)) He is one of my other gaia foals that I had but I do not plan to elite train him like I did Tikki. Too expensive. I will be elite training Majestic if I can ever find a .1% EC and have some more clouds default smiley xd

FQ ~~

It's amazing that I got any time at all to do competitions because my rl horse has decided to totally redo her fencing more to her liking.

I spent most of the day repairing fencing and then she pulled a portion of it down again this afternoon.

Bad pony. Just goes to show you that if you don't work your horses they go crazy bored and make their own games and you won't like them mwahaha. default smiley :o

I only got a few wins today. I hope my horses aren't bottoming out. Tikki's baby just finished games and is now doing trot rides then you will be seeing him in the races too. I actually got one trot win!! Not sure how that happened but just to let you know there is hope.

Harmony is still gaming and then she will join her mate in the shows.

Believe it or not FQ my horse with top wins right now is Summer the mare you sold me. She only has 10 wins to go woohoo!!

Good luck I hope Torka does well in the comps can't wait to see him finish up default smiley :)

Aaa his paired mate default smiley :). Let me know when she is all done, I love looking at 351.2 babies default smiley :p.

Ya Torka has one trot win today as well, default smiley (o) threw me off when that happened default smiley (lol). He even has a barrel win default smiley :o

Ya horsies tend to be bad when they have nothing to do.....I have had to go get my pony sized mustang out a couple of my neighbor's yards default smiley xd. He hasn't tore fencing down yet...finds little cramped spaces to get through or jumps....or he is a magician default smiley (o)

*sigh* all I need is 9 more wins for my mare spooky then I can finally breed her. last 9 races ... came in 2nd place.
By Retired breeder, 20th January 2010 22:26:16
-dies- I think I over trained one of my filler geldings! I was collecting cheapy older arab males so I can force Adrian to BLUP! -sulks-

Ah well, maybe my other foundies will do better...

Glad to hear some of you are doing really well with your horses!
By Retired breeder, 20th January 2010 22:27:20
I've got a 6 1/2 year old 351.2 GP stallion with 30+ BLUP. Hoping to find a partner for him to start my NIB breeding. He's wonderful, its so funny. He can even enter XC with around 4-8%! It's so funny, they are easy wins. Not much money, but 100 BLUP is what matters. Going to get his link.
By Retired breeder, 20th January 2010 22:35:13
Forest, I was asleep too default smiley :k didn't expect to win it! Did you get the other one you bid on?
FQ ~~

She never takes off but boy can she be destructive if I haven't been out that day other than to feed her for the day. Even though it's bloody cold outside she still wants me to live in the barn default smiley (lol)

I am trying to get Summer to finish up but she's being resistant lol

Okay, here's the link to my stallion named Nutty. He's 7 years old, 351.2 GP, (foundation), 54.08 BLUP, 4 wins and 263.84 skills! He's great and he can enter XC 4-8ish%! Besides, he was half trained when I bought him so I had to work with what I got.

The great, Nutty!default smiley :)
gaff I have won one so far today, have a few others finishing today also.

Nice Rowen default smiley xd, 9 more wins to go for my boy and still 26 races to run default smiley xd.

I am sorry to hear that Soul default smiley :(

Crossing my fingers for you lively default smiley (y)

'evening all.....

busy day here in the NIB ranks -- congrats to all for your wins...fingers also crossed for the last few, lively.

Not much going on in my barn today...didn't have time to get anyone entered this morning before I left for work -- so much THINKING has to go into these entries..so much AVOIDING of certain horses....*sigh*....go away, green-star monster and play with your own kind...default smiley :@

Rymskynx -- I'll pm you regarding your boy....he shares lineage with one of my babies by your stud, but he'll be nice for a separate line....

Inner Chorus has a couple of delicious wee beasties in the PS...hmmmm.....

Time to go and see if the green monsters have all gone to bed for the day....default smiley ;)
Summer got one more win 9 to go

FQ ~~

She's not Torka's mare this is another one. She has 350.90

Salsa just started her trot training and she hasn't finished that yet. I would give her another few days and then she will be in the comps.

Can't wait to see all these NIB babies finished default smiley :p
