It's about time the NIB breeders had their own corner of the world default smiley ;)

The NIB FAQ:

What is a NIB horse?
A NIB horse is a horse that is not inbred; every horse in its pedigree appears only once (with the exception of Ouranos and Gaia). Horses with "Horse Disappeared" in their pedigree are generally not accepted by NIB breeders unless the horses in question were bought before the horses disappeared and have verifiable pedigrees.

Are there green star NIB horses?
These horses have lower GP than green stars and other top horses, as not inbreeding limits the breeding availability and is slower to progress than breeding brothers to sisters and so forth.
**Misabel edit: The first Green star NIB horse was created on February 21, 2011 - a 6th generation Connemara pony with a star in stamina. He was the end result of a lot of hard work and effort, but now that some dedicated breeders have shown it can be done, we all have something to shoot for!

Are NIB horses considered better than green stars or inbred horses?
Goodness, no! Nobody here is attempting to make that claim. Just like the Zero GP horses, these players choose to play the game in their own challenging way.

How can I get involved with NIB breeding?
It's simple! Start by purchasing a few foundation horses, or horses whose pedigrees can be tracked down and verified as non-inbred. Then carefully breed them to create foals with good GP's and skills that are not inbred!

@ HYDEIST I've long given up hope that the game might become friendlier towards NIBers again... :/
Glad to hear that this item might occasionally be available though. I don't buy passes, but the daily objectives let me acumulate them over time, so depending on price it might be doable for me.

Hey everyone, after a long long hiatus I decided to come back and pick up my rolling GP NIB Holsteiners again. I am happy to report that I just finished BLUPing my first first gen horse! By age 10, no less!

Here she is!

How much are foals with foundation parents going for? and what if you have a horse fully bluped with foundation parents?

Depends on the individual, honestly! Some of us like to own all the horses in a line, so wouldn't want to buy foundation offspring (stems from the curse of "Horse Disappeared" if a player deletes their game - horse then can't be verified as NIB and can destroy entire lines)..

But I'm sure there are NIBers who are happy to share lines, you'd just have to find them. Good luck!

Sorry to have been incommunicable for so long, having wifi issues. I have been able to separate some foundation (both OG and RG) breeds into my Foundation breeding farm tab. There are another 2 pages of "Other" horses to confirm if foundation, and then separate into proper sub-category by breed and type of foundation under the Foundation Tab. All such horses listed have been confirmed as being foundation.

Since I am out of the NIB breeding, in fact will probably be deleting my account after many years of playing, I would like to get as many of the foundations to NIB breedsrs as possible. They are available for 500e, NIB breeder exclusive price, to anyone interested. If you feel adventurous and your breed is not listed under the Foundation tab, you can look thorough the "Other Horses" tab.

Please let me know if you are interested in any of the foundations, or any other breed that I might not have separated at this time. Thank you.

@Yankee Lady - was so happy to see your name in the NIB section. Then got so very sad when I read your post.

It would be so great if you'd stay. Perhaps still play a little slowly working a rolling gain line of horses?

I'll take any potential homeless lovely it Being Shagya or Russian Don or other breeds. They deserve to have a home.

I still hope you can be persuaded to stick around in stead though default smiley (l)

Hello, Hello.

I've had a few accounts before but due to various circumstances things didn't pan out. Figured I'd give it another roll and try for NIB greatness. I'll be breeding Shagya Arabs. Always looking for foundies so if you have any to sell I'd be interested.

I'd also be interested in just chatting and making friends.

Happy breeding y'all.

Okay, I have finally managed to get all the foundations separated into breed groups. I have already received a number of breed requests. The foundation breeds will be listed on my next post..

There are 1,849 OG foundations divided into 35 breeds, and 70 RG foundations divided into 14 breeds.

The "rules" for receiving any of them are as follows:

1 - only sold to NIB breeds

2 - all available at 500e, regardless of breed, coat, in foal or not. Mares in foal are listed as "NIB foal" or "foal not NIB". Wish I could just give them away free but impossible.

3 - taking orders by MAIL requests only (not here)

4 - choice of horses made by order of requests received, some breeds are already spoken for (will note on listing)

5 - where possible, 1st requestor chooses first (number determined by number in breed, but try for at least 4), then 2nd requestor and finally 3rd Only taking up to 3 requests per breeding group. EXCEPTION: when more than 20 horses available in breed, then will take up to 5 requests

6 - hopefully all will find new homes.

I trying to decide whether or not to keep either Purebred Spanish or Shagya Arabians to get back into a little NIB breeding again, if I should decide to keep my account. Finding it hard to say goodbye to 15 years.

Thank you all for your patience while I certified that all the horses are indeed foundations (found 20 that name said foundation but definitely were not) and divided them into their breed groups.

Del,

Where did you find the symbols around your name? I have been unable to send you the foundations you required because I am not entering correctly. Have been trying { Del } but Howrse won't accept it. Thanks.

Try copying and pasting the name. I find that that helps when I can't get it to type in right.

I just reset all but my dressage competition (have to wait until it runs next) to minimum difficulty, low level. As they can run every 2 hours hopefully it might make it easier to get wins on OG horses. You can search for them at Letheringsete Manor.

Hope it helps.

I am looking for people who have 5356 Foundation Trotter Unicorns. I am looking to purchase 4 first generations (foundation x foundation offspring) that don't share any of the same parents. Idk how I got so close to 6 gens but I did! I will have an extra MALE if you happen to have a FEMALE that needs a cover!

Hi! I am interested in NIB and I still have my founding horses (shetland breed), can someone help me get started? (tell me what to do/how to keep it going without inbreeding) If it seems to be too much trouble to me, I would be perfectly willing to sell my foundies to someone here who wants to do that! default smiley :)
