This thread is here to show off your Retired Coats. This is not the place to post non retired coats. **The two exceptions would be coats that have been pulled (brief discussions) and the pre release coats.

REMEMBER:

******** absolutely no sales talk, no talk about spares or how many extras of a copy you got and selling them to fund your RC habit this is just a place to talk RCs

* although links and graphics are ok on this thread, they are not allowed normally on public forums

* any negative or unkind comments on artists or coats (or anyone!) will be removed, and depending on the case, it might mean an instant forum ban.

* DO NOT use this as a place to sell your horse/coats-if you feel the need to break this rule, it will mean an instant forum ban...

** Sales ads are NOT allowed in any public forums. Asking for spare coats will now be considered a sales ad. This includes stating that you plan to sell a coat, or point out coats for sale in sales.

* Do not use this place as a spot for rants or complaints-About coats/BG/or each other.

* This is not the place to ask players to price your coats, or to ask others the worth of a coat, you can check uses on your own by hovering your mouse over the gray apple and price it from there.

* This is not the place to bring up the subject of stolen images. Keep in mind that the rules of the BP used to be very different, and many old coats are from that time.
There is not any reason to bring that up, or report the coats.

*Please do not do a coat countdown for soon to retire coats.

* Please do not post coats that are currently in the GA and have either not retired, or will never retire.

* Please do not post coat/bg combos or ask opinions on them, except following coat release.

* Some coats may be removed in the future, whether that be for problems with the coats itself or just because they're clearing room on the server to allow other coats to be uploaded - if you're buying retired coats, please keep that in mind. If you want a permanent copy, I would recommend saving the graphic to your computer

* How to discover who many uses a New GC coat will retire-There is now a coat countdown in the GA, and it will show how many have been used and how many uses there are left.

** There is now a new creations directory which shows all coats. Go to Community>>>Directories>>>Creations>>>Click more criteria, and on the left hand side is a gold and silver apple. Click the silver apple and search to see all retired coats.

* To see who created/how many uses/name/or if you have it already of a RC coat, simply click on the silver apple, and it will tell you.

*** Posting links to other player's coats is NOT allowed and can mean a forum ban.

Sorry make that 31 from Lulakita.

Bucking Free by DinkyAngel has also retired making the total 32.

I always loved Lulakita´s coats so I am a little sad to see them leave, but I was checking out the last logon date for a couple of my favourite pre-creation space GA´s creators recently to see if any of them might be retiring soon and I noticed they hadn't been on in a very long time.

Good news for me is I have all the coats they made both the old RC´s and the the ones to have retired now.

Oh gosh Lulakita left? Man, I knew I should've been collecting more of her coats, she's one of my favorite creators. Good thing I had a few of them~

Gosh, Howrse must be able to hear my thoughts because just yesterday I was looking at the Lulakita coats because I had some GAs spare and was going to get some, but got some other preCS coats I thought were in more danger because "it's not like Lulakita will be gone tomorrow..."

ah, sadly I only have a few of those Lulakita coats, I wasn't expecting them to retire so soon. but I am very happy about the ones I do have, like these two

the twin Hestia coats have been pre-CS favorites of mine for ages ^_^


I also acquired this one recently (and a few others Thanks to a wonderful player ^_^ )

I had never seen it before, but its quickly become one of my favorites :-3

I have Prizrak limit & Was it a dream ?!, the latter being a long-held favorite. I just love how they're actually semitransparent, its such a cool affect.

How can I get a pre-CS coat? Is there a special way to search the sales?

There are still tons of Pre-CS coats that are GAs you can still apply. Just search for ones that aren't compatible with the H.Ray.

Searching for Pre-CS RCs or GAs in sales is a pain. About the only way I've searched is to X out the H.Ray search as those horses wouldn't have backgrounds. That won't negate those CS coats that don't have Rays either so you'll have to click each horse and make sure it's Pre-CS.

If your browser shows the url when you hover over the apple icon, you can see the coat's number - Pre-CS coats have 3 to 7 numerals; CS coats have at least 9 (I think default smiley xd)

Too bad the url shown wasn't the url of the actual image as that would be easier to tell. I know Pre-CS coats have "static" in their url while creation space coats have "creation."

But still, counting the numerals could be quicker than having to open the tab. Might be able to go to the directories to find the last released Pre-CS coat to find out what its ID number is and then that'll give an idea of the numerals those coats have.

They may or may not have already been retired I can't remember but I know the creator was still here and those coats are now showing at the top of the list..
Wonder if Howrse is finally "cleaning out"

How do you know when a user is close to being deleted? I would like to get some pre-CS coats that are close to retiring but have no idea which ones are best to get!

No way to know for sure. They could delete their game at any time they choose, or their game could potentially be removed by administration, but we don't get a heads up unless the player announces they will be deleting their account.
