[Info] The Retired Coat Gallery

This thread is here to show off your Retired Coats. This is not the place to post non retired coats. **The two exceptions would be coats that have been pulled (brief discussions) and the pre release coats.

REMEMBER:

******** absolutely no sales talk, no talk about spares or how many extras of a copy you got and selling them to fund your RC habit this is just a place to talk RCs

* although links and graphics are ok on this thread, they are not allowed normally on public forums

* any negative or unkind comments on artists or coats (or anyone!) will be removed, and depending on the case, it might mean an instant forum ban.

* DO NOT use this as a place to sell your horse/coats-if you feel the need to break this rule, it will mean an instant forum ban...

** Sales ads are NOT allowed in any public forums. Asking for spare coats will now be considered a sales ad. This includes stating that you plan to sell a coat, or point out coats for sale in sales.

* Do not use this place as a spot for rants or complaints-About coats/BG/or each other.

* This is not the place to ask players to price your coats, or to ask others the worth of a coat, you can check uses on your own by hovering your mouse over the gray apple and price it from there.

* This is not the place to bring up the subject of stolen images. Keep in mind that the rules of the BP used to be very different, and many old coats are from that time.
There is not any reason to bring that up, or report the coats.

*Please do not do a coat countdown for soon to retire coats.

* Please do not post coats that are currently in the GA and have either not retired, or will never retire.

* Please do not post coat/bg combos or ask opinions on them, except following coat release.

* Some coats may be removed in the future, whether that be for problems with the coats itself or just because they're clearing room on the server to allow other coats to be uploaded - if you're buying retired coats, please keep that in mind. If you want a permanent copy, I would recommend saving the graphic to your computer

* How to discover who many uses a New GC coat will retire-There is now a coat countdown in the GA, and it will show how many have been used and how many uses there are left.

** There is now a new creations directory which shows all coats. Go to Community>>>Directories>>>Creations>>>Click more criteria, and on the left hand side is a gold and silver apple. Click the silver apple and search to see all retired coats.

* To see who created/how many uses/name/or if you have it already of a RC coat, simply click on the silver apple, and it will tell you.

*** Posting links to other player's coats is NOT allowed and can mean a forum ban.

*#*#*#* If players feel the need break the main topic rules, such as sales ads/coat countdowns/spares-you can expect an instant forum ban without any warning prior to it *#*#*#*

By Retired breeder, 4th August 2009 04:25:18

I' d like to create a special coat for the oldest Mortal Arabian Unicorn but can we do that? Create a GA for just one horse?

reeart2 meaning you just want one horse to have it? only way to do that after you use it you have to retire it right after.

How do other GA collectors organise their coats?

I am in the process of changing my horses names in to the code number for the coat page.
In front of the number I either have A (active) or R (retired)

Does anyone know if the glitch is back or has this coat now been officially retired?
hope this works

if not it's the palomino Calymphe in the slightly strange leaping pose.

Blackwind the fresian looking coat that was glitched is not glitched again so does anyone know who created the above and if they retired it/quit?

Is coat number 1344 officially retired, or is it still glitched? If it is retired, how rare is the coat? Thanks!default smiley :)
so far I have only found 3 that were not retired that were part of the glitch.. I have alot of coats that people haven't seen that are very similiar to others that are still in the game,.

I am tolde repeatedly that these two coats are not retired coats.. in some cases you are right . SOME of the coats are not retireed and some are.. you have to check them before you buy them.. I have the bay.. the coat is called "Jump!!" under my hano retirees and it is a retired coat. while the illusion coat I do not have in the retiree form.. note the orange colors around it.. that is what makes that particuliar coat retired. sigh...

psdraftlady,
Really like the way you have organised your coats. Would you mind if I did the same but without the hearts? (they are your special touch)
Kate
I arrange mine like this:

GA Coat # xxx
Retired Coat # xxx

That way they all go into numerical order when you sort them my name. When you have a coat that is only 3 digits, you have to put a 0 in front of it. So coat number 123 would have to be written as #0123. I think it's just because I use the # that I have to use the 0, but I like how the # looks. default smiley :)

Also this way the Retired Coats go at the end. Any other horses I have in my other horses tab (where I keep my GA collection) I put *** in front of their name so that they are at the top. And my Sleip goes at the end because he's last in alpha order since all the ohters start with ***, G, or R.

This horse is coming up as retired?

http://www.howrse.com/elevage/chevaux/cheval?id=6187713

Is there another glitch going on?
By Retired breeder, 4th August 2009 19:04:05
I have been collecting for a while now....I have always put Z *name or number RETIRED to organize my collection, if it's special, I add another * or something.....this put's all my retired coat's together & after all my "regular horses" that I play with every day. Then all my regular golden apple coat's just have the name Z name of horse so in my "system" they will fall after my retired coat's. I may not be as organized as some, but all my retired coat's have always been listed together, then my regular coat's. We each have our own little waydefault smiley :d

Plus, I would like to know about the "glitch" is there one?
I haven't been around much this weekend, and seem's like there are a few more change's again...thanks
Kate Perrett your link won't work but I have noticed today one of the coloureds with a photo coats is also seemingly now retired....can anyone - a mod maybe - confirm if there is a glitch again with some of the coats please default smiley (o)
