How do you tell if a coat is retired?
Normally, when you click on a horse witha golden apple coat, you are taken to the golden apple page, where it will show the coat, username of creator, and name of coat. click on a retired coat, however, and it shows- this |

starhorse, I think all of those were posted previously in this thread. I know for sure three of them were, though I'm not sure about the one jumping. Still made me happy though - I have all 4 of those coats!

I have three questions about the retired coats.
How do you know if the coat is retired? Where do you find them? Why do the coats become retired? Just wondering. |
Arabian600, You can't use them if they are retired,
On howrse ( I check the sales) & I dont know really...

horse white was the name of that grey coat, morgansmom. I remember that one...it was really popular, at least at first.
By the way, the name (if I remember correctly) wasn't spelled with capitals... |

morgansmom, Ranchhand is correct, the coat is called horse white. However, it is not retired. To see if a coat is retired, when you're on the horse's page, click on the horse. It will take you to the GA page. If the coat is shown there, it is not retired. If it doesn't show the coat, it is retired.
Arabian, you know if the coat is required by utilizing the procedure above. A warning to all - just because someone selling a horse SAYS the coat is retired, doesn't make it so. Always check! I have seen many coats advertised as retired that are still available from the Black Market. If you want to collect coats, you just have to troll the sales and be ready with equis and/or passes to get what you want. If you read back through this topic, you'll see the reasons why coats are retired. |
