Also, searching the sales for GP over a certain value is not working.

My trophy page is not updating either.... Nor can I search for a horse in the sales with a particular skill (ex. horses with over 6,000 skill in gallop).

The searches were working a couple of hours ago, so something must've happened between then and now, because even my saved searches aren't filtering.

Why get rid of the image if the foal during ultrasound? That makes so sense and isn't beneficial. No one asked for this. Change it back please.

Trying to search sales for specific breeds with specific skills more than a certain amount. It's not working. Just FYI

don't you love when they "fix" things that aren't broken. and completely ignore the real problems. this donkey/draft cover thing just dumbdifies the game even more.

What the heck?? I put up team covers before gelding and now the covers have disappeared? This is a horrible glitch.

I have noticed since the changes have been made for the way you see the coverings,
somehow the sales parameters for other things no longer works. For instance, when
you select the sales tab, specific breed,the minimum gp and minimum skills search it
will pull up the specific breed you asked for but it will still pull up every single horse
for sale no matter what the gp or skill level is. I have tried several times today without
success. There are no minimum skill levels or minimum gp levels in direct sales or
the auctions.

I would like to report this problem as a bug and was wondering if you could check this out
for me?

aha! should have looked here - nothing in the sales is working for me - all of the criteria are non responsive. I did send in a contact us but it's nice to see it isn't just me

So since this update, my VIP purchases have purchased 11 horses of which NONE were in the actual criteria they were supposed to be searching for... I even had some random purchases that had nothing to do with covers?? So now I have wasted a lot of Equus for 11 useless horses.... it's even more frustrating because if I'm reading the update correctly, it should have disabled my purchases:

"This change also concerns saved VIP searches. The "number of coverings" search button has been removed and the automatic purchases for this option has been disabled."

I now have manually disabled ALL my searches for auto purchase even if it shouldn't have been impacted by this update... FYI for those who are having the same issue, I suggest going in and manually disabling all your purchases. Let's hope that it doesn't forcefully make up a random search to purchase on your behalf.

Mobile access to the EC options would be useful.

I would really like to have updated, properly organized forums.
Examples:
The Game Play forum should be called Help out something similar. To many new people have learn the hard way that the forum isn't actually about playing the game. Because telling people to go post in their own EC forum is not actually helpful and comes across as dismissive, making me players feel unwelcome.

There should be a forum called Game Play where discussions about playing the game are actually allowed. Threads like Looking for a Friend should go there.
Events should only contain threads related to events.
Proper forums are absolutely manageable. For a good example, check out the Dragon Cave forums at dragcave.net. They have a global, active membership.
I think a "Classifieds" forum would be nice. Pin things like Find a Friend and Congratulations at the top, then let people post things.

I really don't see the harm in having good forums. It's honestly weird how resistant they are too any changes.

Sorry to say, but In my opinion, biggest part of the updates are mainly a real disaster and practically useless. Since I'm hopelessly optimist, every time I notice, a new update is released, I can't wait to read, what improvements they contain. But right after getting to know with them, I'm exactly, like this:

I feel like ever since "improvements" to the game have been posted, the game has slowly gone downhill. I have played this game for the past 11 years and I have actually considered deleting my account. Don't get me wrong, there have defiantly been some improvements to the gameplay, but the overall quality has gone down. Items the community asks for have been ignored while things that aren't broken are fixed. While it is nice that once impossible to get items are easier to get, they are almost too easy. That sense of accomplishment is gone. One of the straws that broke my back to make me write this post was seeing the "Jenny" and "Zebra" on the black market. Players have been asking for zebras and donkey hybrids since I can remember and I was so excited to hear they had been added to the game. I was highly disappointed to find out that they are not only a top prize in a black market item, but they are cartoon-like and come in various colors. They absolutely do not fit the style of a majority of the exiting horses in-game, but it seems to be that is the style that the design team is going to as evidenced by the parade horses who share the same style. Overall, I am very disappointed and hope that this game can be turned around before it is too late.

Just a thought, but perhaps consider allowing us to filter coverings by breed and species when offering them to our own mares? Today I have cover a draft unicorn, so was going to use my Qilin instead of using a male as well, but I would have to go through all my draft unicorns to see if I have one ready to go, whereas if it was an option, I could just filter for draft unicorns and find one a lot easier.

Oh my goodness... They posted a "Resolved" post for VIP purchases and Farm Searches in the Game section... The due date is today for those looking for re-imbursements... I literally just stumbled across this today.

The automatic sales issue only affected a percentage of VIP players and as most of us check our automated sales regularly the majority of us were aware if we had an issue very soon after it happened. Sending a message to everyone, in my opinion, would only have worried an awful lot of people who do not use it and do not understand what it is.

The breeding farm issue did not cost anyone anything, it was just an annoyance. Players will have been trying regularly and would know when it was working again

Why do covers disappear if you castrate? When was this change made?

I'm not sure it was meant to happen but I don't know if anyone has asked Contact about it.

I just wanted to provide a bit of feedback on the objectives -

Today I had "do 40 missions" over on UK, which gave me 20 passes. Without an MA, this would be 40 aging points, and based on the going rate of 1 point costing 9 passes, that means this objective would have cost me 360 passes if I was to buy the points 1 by 1, or a little under a 1/4 of the aging point pack, which if you divide by 150 is 4 passes rounded, 3.26 unrounded. Even with the pack, I would have had to have spent over 6 times the worth of the payment to do this objective.

There are also the seemingly more frequent "use an item from ____ category", which are usually over double the pass value of what the payout would be if you had to buy the item.

The objectives would cost way too much compared to what they would pay out if you had to buy the items to use. 10 and 20 passes would have been an acceptable payout with only the old objectives, as there were fewer harder objectives and you didn't have to use pass items anywhere near as frequently, but now that there are more "use this item", "ride in the __ for __ hours", "do ___ missions", "stroke a donkey/draft unicorn", etc, the payout is no longer fair.

What I am suggesting is to either scale the payment to cover at least half the cost, give us a third optional objective where the harder objectives will be and a higher pass payout, or just increase the payout. At present time, it just isn't worth it if you are lacking what you need to use or if you need to buy one of the more expensive species to use.

The 15/30 pass objectives should be the new standard, not just available once in a while, while the bonus is closer to 25/45 passes for the two objectives.

These replaced pass horses, which were a possible 3000 passes a month if you sent enough to get everything, so having the 840-930 passes a month made near impossible/expensive to get for the average player really isn't fair, at least in my opinion.

I know Howrse is a business and all that, but I feel if people are putting in the effort to get these passes, it shouldn't be as difficult as it is now to get them.
