I haven't heard of them before. Are they new (i.e., after 2015)?

They are. Ikebana was launched in 2019, it was the first iteration of the Merge Event.
The Hike is a bit older, but not by much, possibly a year? default smiley :)

The new version is much improved! Unless you wanted a crayon scribble, I couldn't even give it a try, but maybe knowing what wasn't right made it better?

Riders Store was a decorating event, Guinevere had a decorating event so they happened recently. Decorating won't be back for a while.

No, this is a similar but different event.
The Equestrian Parade (When Guinevere released) is like the Monster workshop.

The Rider's Store was similar to Trick Or Treat or the Vacation event we had in the past. NPCs asked for a couple of items and we got points depending on what we gave them. I'd describe them as "offering" events rather than decorating.

Its basically an event where you merge things to make prizes which you can choose to keep or make bigger things which you then merge again to make bigger bigger things until you get to the main prize. There should be info a few pages back on it.

Well, if you are impatient like me, you will just go ahead and blow all your passes on the item directly instead of trying to play the game and probably get me for more money.

You can make the matches as many times as you want to get as many as you want I do believe! default smiley :)
