They are expensive but a lot of people still buy them every year because the overall value of the contents usually makes it worth the money if you have the disposable income to spend. Plus, Christmas does tend to be a time when people are more inclined to treat themselves to something and/or spend a little extra, so people who don't normally buy passes or only buy a small number throughout the year may be more inclined to spend the money than they would normally be. It doesn't hurt that the passes we get from the packs can then be used on the Christmas promo, which offers more divines than promos usually do, adding extra incentive to make use of the packs while they are available. All in all, it isn't a bad marketing strategy and it is one that clearly works, otherwise they wouldn't have repeated it year after year.

Owlient might be seeing a drop in sales this year, though, because a lot of the players who would normally buy them have been saying they do not plan to this time in protest over the changes this year. Whether or not they stick to that, and whether it makes any difference, I guess we'll see come December.

Is anyone aware of Christmas pack pricing yet? To add to this, is there any set date as to when the packs will be released? Or can anyone give me a rough estimate? If this has been answered already I'm sorry!

24-26th December
30th December - 2nd January
5th-8th January

Does anybody know what the other two reindeer are going to be? (Hidden in the calendar.) I know that you get Donner from the tutorial, but I'm clueless as to what the other two are. Also, do we get to keep the three reindeer after the promo? (Like we did with Blitzen.)

Comet we figure is going to be on the last cases of the Calendar BUT the tutorial also said that reindeers were in "Special promos" we didn't get to test yet, so it's still unclear where Comet is

The events were over on the 21st and they said there's nothing left to test, so there's really nothing new coming up.
No news on Comet, but the last 2 Divine calendar cases are Dagda and Tyr, if that's helpful

I don't know if this needs a spoiler cause this divine is already on the game, but because of the nature of the question, i'll use one. The divine Ruaumoko has parents called Rangi and Papa (who oddly enough, is the mama lol). Why not the usual parents Ouronos and Gaia? Are these new names indicative of something to come? And if so, why in the world would we have the foal before the parents? lol. I doubt that's the case, but i just wondered when i saw the Ruamoko's unusual parents. Thanks for any info

I don't think it needs a spoiler but... Those are the correct parents according to Maori mythology I believe. Just looked and Rehua has them too. I'm glad: it would be disrespectful to change the parents wouldn't it?

Think I'll go check some other mythologies!

sorry, this might be a super ignorant question but - does the calendar event start immediately on december 1st, right after the snowball event?
