I didn't make it on to preprod this round as they always release it while I'm asleep. Who comes up with these new "ideas" anyway? Asking for a friend... These are NOT the changes that need to be made to co-management.

Question for you, Miss Blue. When it comes to being an ambassador, do you know if you guys will be interacting with players to get their feedback, or are you guys offering your opinions only on the changes? Please don't take that negatively, I thought that ambassadors were supposed to gather info and relay it back at first, but it doesn't seem to be that way, I think. It's nothing against any of you, I just misunderstood until recently.

I had hoped we would be talking to you guys in polls, your own Forums, etc.


About the changes to co-management- wow, I didn't think it would be that bad, but Howrse does always surprise me that way. This site is a sinking ship.

To my understanding Ambassadors are not allowed to share ANY information regarding changes with the public.

Oh of course, I hadn't thought of that What about feedback on changes that are implemented from this point on? Will they be able to relay public opinion afterwards? Because Howrse clearly doesn't listen to us now.

FINALLY A NEW SPECIAL HORSES PAGE! I have been waiting so long for this, and it's gorgeous. Right after I completed my Rainbow Horses collection

This change will make it even worse if, god forbid, someone you've trusted with co-management goes for your passes/ruins your game, not being able to log on at the same time to even keep an eye on it or remove them???? I personally never log out of my account and if I wanted someone to do something on it I now would have to be present to authorise them beforehand? Why not just do it myself in that case? What about filling? I often pop through 3 different accounts on and off while they're still logged in and playing just to fill for myself... There are a few people I know whose accounts are currently managed solely by shared; they're going to be completely stranded and maybe even deleted if this change comes through! What about team members running off with blups and not putting enough covers up? Unexpected situations are 99% of co-account uses! Otherwise the owner would just do it themselves! How exactly does this change make account sharing any more safe or easy? As far as I can see it vastly increases it's complexity and does nothing to stop someone bent on causing damage anyway! What about when someone does my AP hunters, I now have to schedule a time where they're around to do it and I'm not and they must do it before I'm around again at which point they'll be locked out if they try and come back to finish the job???

I am an italian player who has tested this new feature for nearly two years. We were barely able to get 6/7 passes each month. From next week, we won't be able to get passes anymore. Free passes will be replaced by diamonds, and we will have the possibility to get a MAXIMUM of 90 diamonds per month, by completing objectives, including the use of BMI.
Why am I writing this here?
Because we are the actual Owlient's guinea pigs, which is trying to understand how to implement this function in all versions of Howrse, without stirring up a revolt.
We are alone in this battle and Owlient ignores all our gripes.

I've made no secret that I don't like the pass horse system, and wish it would be replaced. But merely changing passes to diamonds is not the change that's needed! It needs to be changed to something that preserves the current economy, e.g. the idea I've written about elsewhere for making AP horses more valuable by giving a chance to breed a saleable divine from them.

Not sure: are you on the system where you have a divine with tree rings and you get passes from the loyalty meter instead? I admit I prefer the idea of that to current pass horses. But if you can only get so few passes that's not good.

I do like the idea of doing objectives to win diamonds, but not the limits!.

90 diamonds cannot compensate for 30 passes, especially if the quests require you to "use an item from the reproduction section" or "win a rosette" or "birth two unicorns", excuse me what?
It's unrealistic and clearly exploitative (on their part).

Haha yeah, I'm an active player on the czech version. and it is alreadyx horrible enough. Replacing passes with diamonds?Like???Why??? The loyal player's pass systém isn't even working how it should be working, we barely get around 6 passes if you're lucky. The czech version and a few other ones are basically suffering, but Howrse doesn't care anymore. They cheated the system, They made a decision nobody agreed on. And It's going on for such a long now. It sucks. So if the change happens on all versions and servers, everyone is gonna be...well, fricked. Because, there won't be any other option to get free passes..Sigh.

When the Ambassadors program was announced, I read the comments of two other players making a very valid point - what if the ambassadors program is only a way to successfully ditch the pass horse system and be able to blame us as a community?
I thank you for writing here, Aldebaran, because it's very helpful to know what is happening right under our noses and on other servers. I can happily distance myself even more from Howrse knowing that this upcoming change (if not stopped) is even worse than I thought.

As a side note, I don't know the behind-the-scenes of Howrse, but I suspect that the Ows' have their hands tied and that this decision comes with a lot of pressure from Ubisoft.

okay, i am confused. what changes are they making to the share account?
and this is sad on the pass horses, its the only way I can get them. I guess is why
Howrse is doing this, so the one's who use it will have to start paying money to get
any. If we cannot buy them now, why do they think it will change.? If I could afford them
