Pass horses now don't give just passes. Out of six horses I got three passes, two Apollo's lyres and spurs. This is annoying but I feel that it is related to the pass horse change and I feel that it is useful to say before you, like me, spend 1,000,000e on getting passes

Pass horses still give us passes. Admin has stated they will warn us when this will change and it won't happen before the end of the year. Only the first 10 are guaranteed to give you passes. Sounds like you already sent 10 to heaven this month, so you'll have a 1 in 3 chance of getting until you get 30 passes from horses
From the Breeder's Manual:
"you get 1 pass for each horse you send to heaven when they're over 30 years old if you have received less than 10 passes this month using this system
you have a 1 in 3 chance of getting a pass if you got between 10 and 29 passes this month using this system. The rest of the time (if you didn't get a pass) you will receive a bonus product."

So in short they expect us to use pass items each day to get a pass every three days? I think I will pass.....

in some way refer to the new pass update like this one:
"By filling your metre with 10 points per day, you will get your pass at the end of 3 days."
Not sure what page they are finding that posted on.

And another one referred to getting pass points by welcoming a new boarder to your EC. But I'm not sure where all that is coming from as the first one definitely refers to the new pass change as it mentions "every 3 days" not 30. Too bad it doesn't include a link.

new texts tend to appear in the game beforehand, so they are in place after an actual update. That's why it is possible to find them via translation center. But it's impossible to know where exactly they will appear =(

Regarding the packs, when do they come out?

If you type "Point towards a free pass" in translation center under "Text search" tab, you will be able to see all possible variations for getting a point.

we can only get 10 passes per month. We even lose that 1 "loyal player pass" and to top it all, getting that 10 passes per mont isn't guaranteed either. It's way too much to ask. If I wanted to be sure to get everything, I should spend all of my time on Howrse (or at least 3-6 hours), and that would affect my real life very seriously.

actions are randomized it is impossible, not to mention we cannot NOT log on for a single day.

Not to mention when we do not manage to get max points we will end up loosing points because the excess does not carry over once we hit the max

We cannot not log on anyway, even if the range of actions was a lot smaller. Missing one log on day, or a day with only few actions done due to RL and you lost out. This is a game ! Not a job. I understand that we are not entitled to anything "for free" on here. Sure. Unfortunately a customer does like a bit pampering to stick to the shop.
The pass horses have been since ages and lots of players built their game around it. So this silly change can easily be a game breaker for a lot of us. There's a difference between having 11 passes fix or any amount of below 10. (I leave the max 30 passes out on purpose as not everybody has done that) You can't even work with the amount "earned" anymore as nobody will know what they will have "earned" at the end of the month". I very much doubt that's a big motivation to save up for something ahead. It will end up in some fiddling around until fed up and then up sticks.
On other games you have to put effort for the freebies also, but reliable, I know when I do X I'll get Y for sure. Like it was on here until now, start a passhorse farm and you know it will be 10 passes plus the monthly one. It is some effort, yes. But worth it. A randomised action plan to "maybe" earn 10 points daily is not worth it. And all 3 days we have to do those mini games to finally get what we earned. Takes me ages to get that done. More fiddling. No thanks.

*If* at all such a change, cut the needed action down to something reasonable and doable in max 1 hour/day without spending for BMI and such. Normal action with your horses, riding, foal games, training, entering comps, board a horse, feed, water groom .... That sort of thing. Everything else is ridiculous and very much exaggerated. I know I play a lot, but would never ever meet the requirements, that additional to the amount are also random. I don't even meet them now on the monthly meter, no matter what I do.

And how on earth is a regular player supposed to do this stuff all the time?!:
