I don't believe it ever cost us divines because I finished and I wouldn't have freed a divine.
They could revamp it so it did not cost valuable horses, maybe like the last one where we could use a pass item as an option instead of sending a valuable horse we wanted to keep.

Same here Zig. Especially now that we have the trophies. If that promo ever did come back I'd certainly skip it or only send horses from my AP farm if they fit the bill and got a nice prize from it.. And I never skip a promo completely. My trophies cost so many passes and equus that I'd never make back in a promo what I spent on them all. R.I.P one of my favorite GA horses.

If Howrse were worried about server space and the horse population they should have thought of that before adding the trophies in. The trophies are the reason I have so many horses.

There was a release the horse promo and one of the sections we had to release a divine, wild, or horse that had won a rosette. That's the only promo I've even gotten a divine without having to use a single pass or black market item.

Yes, we had to 'set free' at least one divine in that event. I 'set free' a duplicate greyfell that had a stone on it. We also had to 'set free' a horse who had won rosettes, horses who had a specific minimum amount of skills that was really high at the time, and other valuable horses.

Yep, I also have a large amount of space fillers that are there purely because I need them to retain a trophy. They give us trophy targets, I feel compelled to meet them and feel discomfort until it's done. It's just one of the quirky things that my oddly-wired brain does

Exactly! They want us to collect every breed of horse and every colour of horse just to get a trophy, and I know most of those horses never get worked, and now they made a trophy for us to get rid of those horses and our trophy!

Alsoi feel like the divine needs a tail. That would fix everything

We very rarely, if ever, know this in advance.

For anyone else who does not know, Cyclopoidas are copepods that are commonly found in slow moving or stagnant ponds, and sometimes even the sea, for some copepods. They are very small crustaceans. (The same family that shrimp and lobster are in.)

I cannot believe the prices being asked for pass horses now - or for that matter, any horse over the age of 20 or so. I feel really sorry for newer players or those who have not built up a huge Equus reserve. These horses are way out of the reach of a large percentage of players. I can afford them but refuse to pay those exorbitant prices. Fortunately for me I have thousands of aging points so can get my ten passes in this this month by aging my own horses.
The new pass system I am sure will be a lot fairer for all players

The prices have actually declined from around 180k down to 155k. Nothing on this game is easily attainable regardless of length on this game. If myself, and many others, have to work hard and endless hours to get what we want and where want on this game, so should someone whom is new on the game.

On polish serwer we have to pay over 400k for a 30yo horse yet we have no problem with buing them. You just need a good strategy, that's all. I am not an active player here, but I easily collected eq to buy those 30yo horses. Changes won't solve the problem for the new players, because yes, they probably will get 7, maybe 8 passes, but what will they do with them? The prices will be higher and higher. Not only for the horses over 25yo (they will be more valuable because those horses will be needed to gain the divine) but for every horse without Philosophers Stone. And if players have more money, the prices of other horses will be higher too, for ex. GP horses (if somebody who wants to sell something know thay the buyer have loads of money, the prices will be higher). And imagine if you get sick or you don't have an Internet connection because you're on vacation or you wsnt to spent Cristmas with your family, without the game, you won't be able to collect all 10 passes for your activities in the game. So players who need those 10 passes just to have a VIP account, or for other reasons, simply wont get it just because they are on vacation. So the game will change into harder work, which you have to do every day, without a day off.
