On the danish server, there is someone who have spent over 100 Passes and another one who have spent 86 Passes and 140 diamonds etc. .... I have spent 20 Passes myself, and i didn't get Opal.

So i also hope they will put the Gemstone horses in reserved sales instead of Luck items (HoP's are not so bad, but TC and GF is really hard to get the divines in).

Based on what the majority of people I've seen are saying (both here and in VIP forum), I'm starting to feel like Howrse might have tampered with the odds - made them lower so people spend more and therefore buy more passes.

Now, this is just based on what people have been saying, and I know that a) there are people who have gotten Opal within the first few tries and b) dissenting people are more likely to speak out than agreeable people who in this case got lucky.

But to be honest, the way everything's been going up in price lately, it wouldn't surprise me if there was some tampering going on...

i got opal on my first try. i don't buy passes.

the rumours that howrse rigs the odds of winning have been circulating for almost as long as i have been playing.

i believe they do, do something to filter winning divines. not so much with the luck items, but i find it interesting that i won pearl during a distant past lotto, and i've also won every major prize in the lotto, at one time or another..but only once.

now the odds are fairly steep, that you aren't going to win every time, or every 1000th time. but, to win all major lotto prizes over several lottos..well, that kind of seems to me..i'm a little bit lucky..or the odds are in my favour??

i do know that this morning, i was ehh..a fleece that's 2 passes..then i had a feeling that i should do it..and i did..and i won. i won't be spending any more passes on the fleece this go round..and my account almost went broke..passes, hops, diamonds, themis scale and nyx zapped into hops..cash buying pass horses..but i did win both gemini's.

now, i'm slowly rebuilding, because it looks like the next promo could be a monster pass gobbler.

especially, when i see the 10 pass ufo floating about.

Anyone know what the next promo will be after the pinatas have finished?

I generally get very busy during the uni semester and don't find the time to work my Divines...

Are there any Gemstones that don't require working?

I was fairly lucky with divines in HOPs and Fleeces as well (Je T'aime, Isis, 2 Aquarius, and Cascade all one after the other) and it only took me 1-2 tries to get each of them.

(Technically I opened 4 Fleeces and 2 free ones for my 2 Aquarius but they both came in the ones I bought not the free ones so I'm not counting those.)

I desperately wanted opal, I was away for his release and his reserved sale. I'm determine to get him, but then passes, 40 diamonds in I'm trying to think with my brain haha.

It's hard for me not to feel like that. I'm almost never lucky with these "luck" items. I do not buy passes, but usually have around 500 passes on my account. I always try them out when they're around, I can't resist Me and my friends usually joke that howrse sees that I have all these free passes and don't want to give me more things lol

The last time I remember being lucky with HOPs was when Mercury were in them. Got 2 with 4 HOPs. After that? I'm happy the few times I manage to get the divine within 40 tries. I usually don't though, with the exception of Je t'aime (or whatever it's called). I think I got 7 of them, but I had a gap of 60 or so HOPs where I got none. I think I got them all within 120 HOPs or so.

Recently I had 2 long runs with TCs where I didn't even reach level 6. And by long runs, I mean 100+ TCs. 200 passes to reach level 6! twice! And I do not stop before level 6 besides during the maze promos (but these were not a factor this time).

.. and then sometimes, I get crazy luck. When Balios was in the TC I got 7 on 140 passes. Crazy. I don't know what happened, I believe Howrse was broken..

I think these luck items should be modified where you will be given the divine if you open X of the item. I mean some people want to collect them and Howrse seriously cannot expect people to spend 150$ on game money and they might not even get the horse..... We wanted the horses back so we could buy them, not waste our passes on "luck" items....

No luck at all with the fleeces this time around, spent all my 16 passes and no Opal I've gotten brave purple on my first TC and dew on my 3rd fleece. I guess I've been too lucky the other times.

I used about 10 - 15 Fleeces using up my entire pass and Diamond fund and no Opal.
So I decided to buy a pack of 30 passes to try again, and Opal was hiding in the first Fleece that time

So much this. So much. I used the +10 UFO and bought 30 passes and did NOT get Opal. Do I feel entitled to get something after spending actual money on the game...? Maybe I do, yeah.

I'll be holding onto my passes until Ruby and Sapphire come out again, and I pray to the Howrse heavens they'll be in the reserved sales.

I used to have incredible luck on here. I won Altair in the lottery, would win pass packs and top prizes in the lottery, won Isis and Dew in the TCs on my first couple tries, and I constantly made it to level 7 and even 8 every other few tries.. but now?

Passes upon passes put into TCs and fleeces with nothing in return. I do think they may have tampered with the odds.. just because it used to be much easier to win divines.

Then again, Ubisoft is greedy, and they want money, so. Please don't blame the Howrse admins for dishing out these promotions with awful odds. Ubisoft is a massive company with many outlets for money, this game being one of them. I doubt that's ever going to change.

Also, just to add in.. back when Altair was released, I mentioned in the forums how I really wanted him and I've spent a few fleeces without getting any tack. Ow replied saying something along the lines of, "we'll sprinkle a little magic on you for luck". Next lottery I won Altair. Not sure if that was a fluke or not but I've always found it suspicious.

I do not so any of the challenges (titan, golden fleece etc) if I do not win it.
I have yet in the time that I have been playing, to win divine/special from them - not even one.
I am sure folks do win, but I do not seem to be that lucky.
I will never buy one.
