Tormenta's perk?
"Game:
gives a 10% training bonus in one skill to all your horses if she completes 2 missions on the same day"
Has anyone got further explanation? Do horses really receive +10% skill? Or is training in one skill 10% faster? Sure hope it's the last thing, as this would really shake things up in the grand prix.

I can't wait to get the VA. I will use it to get the old mustang coat. That one was my personal favorite coat.

The bonus is training progress.

For instance, after you complete two missions with Tormenta in the same day, all of your other horses that are at least 2 years old will receive 10% training progress in one of the skills that is not yet maxed.

The perk does not stack if you own more than one Tormenta.

Now if I'm correct (I asked for clarification on this) - it simply means that - if Tormenta does two lessons in one day. Any horse on your account whose 'Training' section is not complete - will receive a 10% gain to ONE of their untrained skills.

So for example - if you have 2 horses and Tormenta....One who is fully trained, another who is just missing some point in Dressage and Trot.

If Tormenta's perk is active - the fully trained horse will get no benefit, the untrained horse will have a 10% 'boost' to the training progress of one of its untrained skills (so either Dressage or Trot) - putting it closer to completing training.

Far as I can tell - it will NOT increase the total amount of skills a horse can earn from training (so if fully training a horse would give it an additional 600 points - you'll still only get 600 points from training) - it will just make things 'faster' in a way.

Neither, from what I've understood.

If, for example, you have a horse with stamina training bar at 60%, with Tormenta's perk activated the horse's stamina training bar will jump to 70%.

I have not had the opportunity to actually test if this is how it works, though, so that is just my interpretation of the text.

You're not alone in that. Due to the fact that it seems it will be given to a random untrained skill - a lot of players who do target training/BLUPing are not happy about it.

However, until we can start testing with Card packs - it's impossible for anyone to get Tormenta for us to see if it really goes to a random skill or if one would be able to choose.

Each player can only win a single Vintage Apple from the event (and the event is only going on for One Day).

However, according to the topic on Preprod - a player CAN offer the Vintage Apple as a custom UFO if they have a Pegasus or VIP account for someone else to find. As such, I suppose it is possible that a player could find this UFO and get a second one that way)

If you go to some of the original players pages, some have bannees with those coats on them.

Those banners that say, I was on Howrse when the coats looked like ....

VA is Vintage Apple. It is a special BMI that will be available in an unpcoming September promo. Each player has the chance to win 1 (only 1). It is similar to a Golden Apple, but it allows you to put one of the V3 coats on one of your horses. These are the base coats of the horses before they were updated. If you want to see pictures, look back a few pages in this topic or search google images default smiley (y)
