Hold on...Midas is already available in HoPs? I thought they usually released them after the GC, but gaff, it looks like you have Midas in your breeding farm.

GC Divines are available to be won by VIP players as soon as each GP starts.

Also I keep hearing about a promo called "Setting the horses free", Since I wasn't on Howrse at that time, what is that promo about?

It's basically confirmed that they will be coming (as they are mentioned in the time line, and so far - all Time Line mentions have happened...and there is also this little gem:

I found these two images while hunting around the Internet (they are shots from Equideow - the French Howrse). Since some were confused by the original image, I highlighted the Breed in question, and translated some of the other breed names (as there was some confusion about a handful of them). Also, keep in mind this shot is from the Oldest Howrse Server, and also has breeds that we do not have here (of course, that might change in time but who knows)


The Create a Team page - since teams breed and care for horses, the fact that a Draft is showing up in the option for a Team seems to mean that we will be able to care for them like other horses (note nothing is known on how they will work with breed (if crosses will be allowed, or if they will be like Donkeys and can only breed with other Drafts)


The Breeder of Each Species trophy - note that the number shown is one higher than the current number of species (6 - horse, pony, donkey, unicorn, pegasus, and winged unicorn)...This seems to indicate that Draft will be a new species.

Note that both of these images were chalked up to being a hiccup in the system that caused them to show early. (Think of it like how the Balios Trophy updated to saying X/6, yet only showed the 5 different ones before the 6th one (Volcanic) was added to the game)

Other than these little bits of information - Nothing else has been revealed or is known about Drafts (So which breed(s), what skills, how they breed, how they look, etc.)

I believe it was kind of like sending horses to the safe haven, except you had to find specific ones and "set them free" in different countries. Not quite sure how the whole thing worked, but I think the ones you had to free got rarer and rarer until you got to the top and you could get the prize.

Same! Belgians are my favorites of all Drafts!

I've gotten a question though, which is almost impossible to answer now but still..., considering this is an entire new species, how will they be released? Would it be in a promo of some sort or would they just...appear? I know we can't answer this now, but still something to ponder..default smiley (8)

My guess is a promotion - as this is how new breeds are added to the game (and in a way new species as when Unicorn forms for those breeds without one are added to the game, they are done via promotions)

Of course, what kind of promotions is unknown (could be a reserved sales event, could be by opening HOPs, etc)

Anything like the GC, snowball fight, magic ride.... All of those. Hey basically encourage people to buy passes/spen Equus and are some kind of competition between players. Often offer divines as prizes.

GC is not a promotion, it is a part of the daily game. Promotions are like the magic ride, cards, puzzles, etc. Than we have mini promos snowball fight, stars, balloons, candy fights etc.

Wouldn't he lottery be considered a promo thgh, because you can buy more tickets with passes?

no not happening.. now or ever.. been asked and shot down 1000 times.. once horse is in SH all info about it except name and affix/ pic is deleted..which means all the GP, IBS, BMI's wins.. all gone
