@Zippie SOmeone pointed out that two Plagues does not better effect the chances of the foal appearing.

Side note I am really excited for the advent calender this year. I keep forgetting to do it

So of it's a uni the time doesn't matter either then?

If its an uni, the normal uni rules apply if you want a chance of uni foals.
Im quite sure the plague coats works separately from it. Uni plague foals would be cool but the chance would be really small!

What is this I am hearing about a Calendar?default smiley (o)
Retired breeder wrote:

Ok, so this may seem a little early, but what is the Christmas update going to be about? I was thinking maybe a calendar that each time you log on for that day, you can receive a gift. Kind of like an advent calendar, with the little chocolates? Possibly make the gifs get better the closer you get to Christmas, like on the first day you can get a bundle of apples, and on Christmas Eve you can get a Harmony Pack or something!

What do you guys think, is that a good idea? default smiley *-)

Who knows - we just got done with Halloween and have not started any new tests yet for changes to ECs, new promos, etc.

We have had - in the past, Advent Calendars...but there has not been one for a few years now...Instead we've had the Magic Ride

Who knows though what's in store...

Don't get too excited - there has not been any talk of Howrse doing an Advent Calendar this year *Unlike other sites - Howrse does not do a yearly Advent Calendar*

If we have one - it is done as a promotional event (but as I said - there has not been one for at least two years now)

Hey everyone - I've looked through the last few pages and didn't see anything about it... can someone confirm/deny this hint that was posted on the US server?

Click to display

A BMI which permanently reduces the time crops need to grow by 3 days. As in, put it on a meadow and all the crops you'll ever grow on that meadow are grown faster. It is not known if this will stack with manure fertilizer.

Again, I have no idea whether it is true - but the screenshot looks fairly legit. I just wanted to check if anyone else has heard this and/or if we know where it came from.

I have not seen this anywhere on here - and that mention the US server seems to be the only mention of it.

Though this wouldn't be the first time that an item shows up and looks legit - then never sees the light of day for one reason or another [be it it didn't work in testing, unbalanced things, etc]

I'll see if I can't find anything more about it however

The original poster on US just said they got it from the French spoiler zone... I don't have a french account so I can't check that.

Yeah, I saw that.

For fun - I just tried to see if I can find an image of the item...seems to be no luck for me as I get an authorization screen with the URL I tried

It can come on either Gender - however, it is the rarest of the coats to get

The exact chance is not known - but thanks to numbers from here and testing, I feel it is probably a 10% chance or less [more likely less] that a player will get the Pestilentia coat

Again though - that's just based on my observations...someone else might see differently than I do

I'm not sure if it's true or not but I saw someone say in the SOA topic that a admin said two plague parents increase chances significantly default smiley :)

I believe we worked it out to be around 6% chance so it will take a few tries unless you are very lucky.

I don't know how hard it is, but one VIP forum told me that they got 2 pestilentia in a row, with only 4 passes spent default smiley (lol)

I saw that post too. I wonder if that means the probabilities are stacked somehow. So if the chance of passing down the coat is 20% from a single Pestilentia parent then having both parents be Pestilentia's would make the chance 40% (?) (those aren't the real numbers by the way, I just made some up for the example). Or, is there some sort of bonus to having both parent being Pestilentia - the probability becomes greater than the sum of its parts perhaps default smiley *-)

Having two Pestilentia coat parents wont increase the probability or make give it a bonus, it would be just like crossing Two cremellos, you will not have a better chance of getting a cremellodefault smiley ;)
