Maybe I misunderstood? I have pinata, but it sounded like there was also a maze event going on. Are they running at different times or are both going on right now? Up in my top bar I have pinatas and Ascent.

The maze event is not currently running. Only one event can run at a time, so no new events will start until the pinatas event finishes.

The mazes is an upcoming event. Next after the pinatas, I believe. Upcoming events are sometimes talked about here in the spoiler forum.

I admit that an odd number of limbs is possible, and that might be cute and cool, but this particular new "special horse" really scares me. You're absolutely right.
