Me too ! I am currently trying to guess what public domain book or lore would be adapted next. They can last a long while if they use every Sherlock original character but they seemed to just propose the ones best known in the modern mediums. Shame. I was wondering about Oz, Jules Vernes or Les miserables.

Oh, yes please! They could get a bunch of divines out of that, even if they only include the bigger characters and most well-known Merry Men.

On another note,

was "Inspecteur Lestrade" tagged for translation and fixed yet?
I didn't make prepod this time around (I would hope someone caught that error, but just in case).

Instead of "Men in Tights" we risk "Divines in Tights" and that's a line we're already walking.

I'd love to see more sets along the lines of Solars, Gemstones and Metals. You can just play with coat textures and colors, rather than adding clothes. And the pantheon divines have always been my favorites as well.

That would be nice as well.

But like, I am still waiting on my Carnival divines, just so you know. We have Harlequin and my campanilistic side DEMANDS a Doctor Balanzone Divine as well.
Why him and not mine? default smiley xd

Oh, Divine from Comedia dell’Arte…that would be so nice. They are so many possibilities.

I totally agree. Or play around with the current horses, like the ability to get genetic modifications when breeding like a white sock or any other markings on your horses. Make the Shire and Drum horses differently because how many times have I tried to breed my drum unicorns to a shire and then realized I bought the wrong breed. Give them their own coats just as it used to be back in the days..

Less divines, more horses.

I said what I said.

(All cool looking series can be coats (and I would prefer player made coats honestly, not dressed sad beige traced ponies from Owlient team).)

I do agree that the game would benefit from some "Resurgence" events where you offer old Divines as jackpot, but they will never go this route and always introduce a new shiny for quick bucks.

I need my divine to breed my horses, get advantage, passes, advance my collection. As an investment, it’s normal to have expectations. It’s a bonus to get Easter Egg from folklore and other culture. Even if it’s not always a resounding success…Fairytale divine are really like little statuette you could collect in RL, ( Idea ? Please ?) and yeah design is not always wise.

For Moriarty they use the costume of the Moriarty in Sherlock Hound. It’s already cartoonish and a nice little detail but, as an adult fan of the novel I am torn.
Anthropomorphisme is not really new, though.

Also some folklore, mythological figure, attires would have hurt your eyes. Believe me. They did a reconstruction of antique art and the color scheme was hideous ( yes statues were in color…). No one with modern taste liked it. I don’t think Mesopotamia would be better. As for Gems, metal etc…They are already scratching the bottom of it. If they got any other in there sleeves I would be delighted, of course. default smiley ^)

Pretty much agree. Divines have no hold for me cause they're too expensive, so they dishearten me and make the game LESS fun overall. I couldn't even afford the Pastry Divines they offered this weekend, and that's among the cheapest set.

Yes, I've been playing for 15 years so I do have them, although most I got for free or cheap, there used to be more offered in Horns of Plenty and promos and such. Not that they never do now, but it's not often anymore, I think this one's the first they've done in months and it's part of a set, useless on its own. And they've gotten more expensive and less useful for the price over time. I used to be able to save up for a few months and afford a new release, but I haven't been able to for I think two years now. Similarly Pastry Divine sets cost about 3000 passes and this one if I'm doing the math right is closer to 5000? I don't see why they keep inflating the cost, especially on re-releases.

I wasn't saying "I've never gotten a Divine EVER in my game" I was saying they used to be more accessible than they are so now trying to chase them is frustrating rather than compelling, at least for me since I can remember when they were more obtainable.

Then again, I guess in the REALLY early days of the game they were nigh-on impossible to get, but in the really early days, there wasn't as much of a focus on them.

They are getting more expensive and harder to obtain.

Right now I have so many divines I have picked up over the years ( over 270) that I now get very picky on what I spend my passes on.

This is what we all must do and just got for ones that enhance your account in some way ( ie passes or perks).

Not difficult to see.
We went from 15 HOPs (the first Potions event, to get Sapphire) to 25 HOPs (the third Wandering horses event) to 2500 passes or equivalent luck items to 2600/3600 Tyche Crowns (passes only!).

The price of Divines has doubled since the first 2011 promo default smiley :)

One can participate in a game feature while at the same time critiquing it.

I obviously wouldn't recommend doing so if it makes one's game experience totally miserable, but there are valid reasons if that's not the case.

Here I am stilling waiting for a reining Breed. Western EC's are at a disadvantage as we cannot get our Reining comps to the high levels that specialised breeds allow.

Please Howrse, we've had reining comps forever. Why are we still forced to frankenstein train Lippis.

I have 75 divines. A good point is that 50% of them are useless. I got about 85% of them for free (Copper, Snow Queen, Balios, Jade and Kirin came with real money) which if you can't tell, my best divines were all bought. The truth is, it takes a very certain player to save up 15,000p, spend them all on Jade, get 955 fragments, and then wait 2 years to spend even more to get him - I am not that player. Divines take more time than most players have the patience for, and the ones players do have time for aren't worth it. I'd say a good 70% of all the players ever on howrse quit within the first few months because there simply just wasn't enough resources out there. The truth is that there is a monopoly held by either older players or pass buyers (I want to make it very clear that there is NOTHING wrong with this, I'm not bashing on old players or people who buy passes, please don't get upset with me). If you don't have the money or the patience, you'll just have to be satisfied with the lower end of the divine pool because that is just how it works.

I 100% degree howrse needs to recycle divines, but as Nalu said, it won't happen.
