I contacted Owlient regarding this issue. I know that they see what we post in here and in the VIP Tester forum, but I think this is a much more serious issue and feedback that requires much more immediate attention than something on the level of "I like/don't like this game" or "I need more preprod passes." If you haven't already, I encourage you all to do the same default smiley (l)

I think EtriaN is kind of acceptable? A love Divine or Greyfell would be better of course, but not everybody has Etrian and I am actually very into this "Divine Resurgence"?They stopped doing that AGES ago (in one Wandering horse contest those who didn't get Jade would get a Ruby, and in an old puzzle promo people would get a Sapphire AND a Gypsum I think...?) and if they started putting random old Divines in the contest I'd be ALL for it!

I agree 100%, most of us already have him and even if I didn't I'd rather a Greyfell. At least they are useful to your game, all he can do is win comps and from my experience he's not even very good at that default smiley (lol)

I definitely agree that it's good they're bringing him back, but I'd much rather see him in a weekend HoP/ GF promo because I'm not a fan of Otaku and I already have him so it's kind of a disappointing cards promo for me, I'll probably come out of it with some nice BMI but it would be nice to get a low tier divine that is useful for my game default smiley :)

Well, yes, but YOU have it, others might not, and they really really want to finish their collections (to be clear, I have him, but I can understand that some players, especially new ones, would find him appealing). default smiley :p

I just hope we see more old Divines being offered for free in promos, as side jackpot default smiley (7)

I'm pretty sure he WAS available in weekend promos, last fall.. so players had an opportunity to grab him. It'd just be nice to have one of the big prizes as something that can pay itself off. i.e Greyfells which give some passes every month, as opposed to a dust collector which I've literally never touched since I played the mobile game where I got him from default smiley xd

As you said, last fall, and DEFINITELY not for free. Newer players/Unlucky players might still not have him, so he can be a nice reintroduction if they're starting slow for a "Resurgence" of sorts.
That said, I do agree that pass-giving Divines are better (as I already said before) default smiley :)

Ahahah I agree with Nalu93 default smiley xd I should have had Etria and the other, don't know why it didn't work, was barely back so didn't bother with a Contact Us and now I'm regretting it when it comes to trophies, so it's always good to have.

To be fair, I also don't have it (and I regret not being around back then so I could get it for free, but that's life) and would've preferred a more useful one over him. This one is just a dust collector... sure, it counts towards the trophy and maybe can win me some comps, but that's about it... I guess I'll appreciate the gesture.

I second this. I'd love to have him. I was off the game for a prolonged time and came back, so there will be 'older' divines I'd like to grab if I can.

I understand its a bore to those who already have him but we aren't all able to grab them the first chance they are offered, for various reasons/circumstance.

And that's fair, I didn't say that EVERYONE would love him. I just said that some players might appreciate it or want it. Personally I'd love a Love Divine or similar, but I do appreciate the resurgence, especially if the trend continues default smiley (7)

I mean they just did that - Gypsy Vanner horses are now just Vanners.

This makes the use of offensive Japanese words more puzzling since they have just removed Gypsy. Clearly they understand why using slurs isn't great so hopefully they take into account the feedback about the Japanese divine's name.

Wow, when did that happen?

Myself, I think it was more a case of cultural appropriation than a racial slur. Sure, 'Gypsy' can used as a term of abuse but I don't think it always is? Same as calling someone a Jew can be offensive or not depending on intent.

As far as I know, only Gypsy people can safely use that term and identify themselves as Gypsies. Non-gypsy people should avoid that term, as it has VERY bad connotations if used outside their group and culture.
Also, not every Sinti/Romani person identifies as Gypsy, so it's up to them to use it or not. default smiley :)

Ah, I forgot about Romany. Such a shame, as I think Gypsy can be a positive word as well, but you've got to respect people's 'label' preferences.

I think the change must have happened today? Certainly at least they were under the old name on Monday.

It definitely happened before today, I know someone asked earlier this week in gameplay if I am remembering correctly.
