Here is the current American Stock Horse graphic (Quarter Horse, Paint, Appaloosa, Argentinean Criollo)


Here is the one that was leaked to this topic a while back.



The general consensus is that it's neck is so long and thin that it looks like a "bobble head". Many people complained. It looks they read our comments and took action. Here is the "new and improved" graphic.



The neck is thicker and the chest is larger. They also lifted the head carriage by just a smidge and filled out the barrel. They're subtle tweaks, but if you open the image file urls on different tabs, and then flip back and forth between them, they're noticeable. I actually like it now! If this is what we can expect to see on our American Stock Horses and Argentinean Criollos, then I think I'll start breeding them more actively than I have in the past.

It also gives me hope that the other new coats we've complained about will be tweaked, too.

Now that looks like a real paint to me!

I don't like the look of the thoroughbred coat personally. I think it looks too thick and it's neck looks funny. I liked the old coats much better. I own a thoroughbred in real life and he looks nothing like the new coats. default smiley (lol)
But I do like the new warmblood coats a lot better.

Also , living with the breed all my life , they're naturally a little bit skinny and their heads are a little longer ... I. Don't think the new coat looks like a TB but the old one did default smiley :(

I think the coats, both current and merging "new"coats are great. A far cry from when I first signed up in 2007.

Neither do I... their eyes look really unrealistic; and they're not quite in proportion. (with exceptions, most breeds would have foals with legs a lot longer and 'unsteady' looking.)

A guess that I am making is that every day in the horse parade, they will make a new horse. Those coats are coats that are on the list for every horse breed's new image. On the first day of the horse parade, the Irish Hunter, Russian Don Horse, Hanoverian, Holsteiner, and KWPN images had changed. On the second day of the parade, there was a new horse on the parade. The Barb, Canadian Horse, Lustiano, Peruvian Paso, and Purebred Spanish Horse images had changed because that was the image of the new horse. On today, there was a new horse on the parade. The Thoroughbred horse image changes. That is what lead me to believe that they are changing horse breed images every day.
