Are you inferring that each of them will give out a different amount? That actually makes sense!

Silver gives 30p, Rosegold 40p, Ruthenium 50p, Osmium 60p and Gold 60p. Considering the other ones, 10p, 20p, 90p and 100p are still open (though I am not sure what Quicksilver will do.

Yeah they stole the designs off Google and then got called out for breaking their own rules regarding plagerism and switched the designs after that.

I don't much like the new designs either but I guess they're less stolen and rule-breaky. They haven't been very good about keeping their art honestly-sourced lately cause they did this with the Hydruntine divine too.

Unless you have real proof that the designs were not legally aquired or paid for then it would be a good idea to avoid using inflammatory and possibly libellous words like this. It has been said plenty of times in the survey topic and does not need to be re-hashed in this one.

I thought a player on the Discord server contacted the owner of the Great Dane photo and they confirmed that their image was not legally acquired? Also the fact that the image suddenly changed after things were pointed out does kind of look hinky in my opinion. If they were legally acquired why would they make those change?

How do you know they actually spoke with the "owner" of the photo? Was proof provided? And say for the sake of argument, the "owner" of the photo didn't grant permission, all they would have to do is contact Howrse with proof of ownership and the image would be removed as has been done with copyrighted black pearl designs.

As to why they changed the image? Well cropped ears are illegal in some countries so that could have had an impact. Maybe changing the designs was done to make them fit better with game aesthetics of the game. We know they have changed the designs of coats and divines over the years as well.

Once again, unless a player has proof the designs were not legally acquired or paid for, its best not to make inflammatory statements on the forum.

They changed the images because people were posting everywhere about it AND they found out the images were pretty darn close to being fully traced or copied.

If I remember correctly it took well over 5+ years for howrse to remove the Stitch coat so yeah the chances of howrse actually caring is very slim. They only care when it comes to potential lawsuits, something howrse would've possibly faced if Disney wanted to go after them for the stitch coat

I'm not going to argue with anyone. What I will do is tell you all once again, if *you* are not the owner, you don't have proof, period. What you may have is statements made on the internet that could have been made by anyone.

If the actual owner of the images does not want them used because Howrse hasn't obtained the rights to use them, then the owner can contact Howrse and ask them to be removed.

As for the images posted in the feedback thread, yes I ask them. They don't prove anything. The images show nothing that would indicate where Howrse got them, if they had permission or if they paid for them.

No one here knows, so no one here should speculate. If players are so very sure that Howrse has done something illegal, then report it, don't post about it in the forum.

The subject of the topic is that you seem to think that actual photo evidence of an artist not giving consent to use a photo is just a statement and not a legitimate fact.
Also cute that you deleted my comment because you're seriously being ignorant to the fact that Howrse quite literally copied an artists work and didn't even bother to get consent to use it.
