Knocked it out of the park Also: 2 DISTINCT wings, and you can see the feathers of the second one behind the first. Click to display WOW THAT'S BEAUTIFUL! Probably my favourite divine they've released in the past year or so... I'm going to have to save up...

Click to display I feel that, when the key was first introduced, it allowed you to get some great other prizes on top of an already good prize pool, but now almost every good prize has been put under it. Don't get me wrong, the hera's pack and wanderer's spirit are nice prizes, but the key has a hg, m arms, harmony pack, and m blood, which makes the free prizes look poor. I know the game has to make money, but it just feels like the free prize side of promos has been getting worse over time. The key is great for some extra highish valued prizes, but that doesn't mean that those that can't afford or don't want to buy it should miss out on so much. The key prizes also seem to be getting worse, the last time we had the pinatas we got the shark chimera, yet this time the main prize is something that won't benefit the majority who use it? I remember when we had the final pastry promo, free players got Dark Chocolate, while key players also got White Chocolate, so what happened? How did it go from a divine, to a chimera, to an item that would still require thousands of passes to actually benefit from it due to needing 1000 fragments for a single divine? Again, I understand that you have to make money, but shrinking the value of the prizes you can get, both for free and through pass use, should not be the way to go about making that money. I'd personally be a lot more willing to spend on a promo that has a great prize pool and the ability to get multiple copies of those prizes, it's why I spend so much on the cards whenever they come around.

Thanks...I kinda like it!

Oops, that was @Rogin.

Click to display The Chimera is very pretty, I just worry about the cost. They only give 750 passes on average for their whole lives, and can be costly to tame, so if it ends up costing 6000-odd passes in Crowns it would be a significant loss all around. Although, I suppose that's true of all Divines to some extent, but most will pay you back someday. This series does not. Obviously we don't know how much it'll be priced at yet but the Pet was pretty expensive. It does look nice though, so I can see people getting it just as a collector's item. If it's reasonable I may even go for it as my first Chimera, but only if it's in the 1000-pass or less range.

To clarify, because I be a bit slow on the uptake..
Click to display parrot is connected to the pinatas. Copper was also in Nalu's post, but he isn't tied to pinata's, yes? Also, do we know the amounts that the next metal or Copper give, or do we only find that out when they release?

No, it's not known until they are released, like you mentioned.

^ Correct.
My guess would be that Click to display Scandium will be released on Easter's weekend (Catholic easter, April 9th) and Copper the next month (second weekend of May, Mother's day)

@wynter12 and @nalu93
Thanks for the replies!

Click to display Not super excited about the premium key, but I guess it's worth it if you get all the premium prizes. Hopefully, this is an event you can make it to the end. Other than the companions and fragments, the premium key prizes' worth is around 1,180 passes. I did 300 passes for Hestia's Gift, since that seems to be the average in sales, and I did 300 for the star, since your horse automatically receives a Philosopher's Stone. I'm not a huge fan of the star, it gives your horse a professional trainer and completes the horse's training as long as the "genetic potential [is] lower than 80% of the genetic potential of the best horses in the game." Forgive me if I'm wrong, but that's a super high percentage. I understand they don't want everyone with the best horse all of a sudden, but with that percentage it isn't very exciting. Oh, and with the star you get some wind divine fragments, your horse can no longer breed, and your horse's breed is changed to... star. Whatever that means.

Oh, I hope so, Juicy! I knew there was a reason to hang on to those Crowns.

Alright, I'm gonna say it
Click to display They need to CHILL with the companion releases. I'll admit that when the new trophy re-haul was introduced, I fell off of hardcore collecting, though I still aim to complete all the collections at some point. It's so hard to keep up with the new content, particularly the companions. We just had a new set come out with the Cu-siths and now we have another coming up with the pinatas. Pls I need a BREAK

Pls I need a BREAK On th plus side, none of the Click to display new companions are Premium. The "free" prizes are usually obtainable without spending passes, so we should be able to get all of them I always struggle with who to put them on. I always feel the need to save the good bonuses for a skiller or something, which is silly because I skill a horse maybe once a year. I could have finished a few sets ages ago if I wasn't so indecisive
|
Well I have one thing to say about the recent promos.
I am saving a lot of passes as I have not gone for the end prizes for the last three and this new one included.
|
And something pretty, like a GOOD BOY. Click to display Copper? Copper! Oh I’m so excited for them! I love this series.

Click to display Yeah I'm debating about the key. I quit breeding unicorns as a serious project some time ago, so the Hestia's Gift isn't worth much to me personally, but the free prize pool is not great and there are some other valuable prizes under the key. I don't know if it'd be worth 600 passes but I also don't know that I want to spend a whole event where the only things I bring home of value is a Hera Pack and a Wanderer's Spirit. Kind of a hard decision. I could use the Harmony Pack and the Medusa's Blood but they aren't worth 600 passes alone. The Wind item is also something I'd go for as a grand prize if it were free, but for 600 passes, I'm not sure. It's a glorified Philosopher's Stone and while it's not a useless item it does cost many extra passes to make use of the discount it gives. I guess we'll see what happens when the event drops for real!
|
Click to display I also have to say Copper's my favorite of the series so far. If I ever do get one, I hope it's him or Gold.

Regarding next event's prize...
Click to display Just to double check, you CAN add the Wind Starry Aura to a horse with GP in the top 20%? But the personal trainer just won't work on it and I'll be able to train up the horse how I normally do? I wasn't active when the Solar System Aura came out so I'm trying to think ahead to which kind of horse I could potentially put it on so it keeps getting wins.

I wasn't active when the Solar System Aura came out so I'm trying to think ahead to which kind of horse I could potentially put it on so it keeps getting wins. Click to display Yes, you can do that. Many people will use Pastry foals for Starry Aura horses, as you can train them instantly and their high ibs/low GP means they get the wins but aren't really useful for breeding anyway, so there's no loss in not being able to breed them. But if you want to pick a high-GP horse and target train that's fine too.
