Really glad I sold my Ladybug when I did (3-4 years ago). I'm happy to see it back but absolutely baffled that it's at checkpoint 5 and not the prize at the end of the event.

No, you have one button to press per day.
If you press One for All you get 6 points no questions asked and that's it, if you press All for One you get 4 points. If you're lucky and you're paired with a One for All, you get 6 more points.

Uuh so does that mean that it's very likely there will be mostly people who ask for help, and barely anyone will get helped? default smiley xd

It will even out eventually, that's just how it works.

Personally I will always go for the help, I'd rather help someone else and get the prize later default smiley :)

I am the only one who thinks it's weird you're more rewarded for choosing yourself instead of helping others?

That's really only if you're lucky and do get help. If you're not helped through the day, you'll end up with only 4 points, which is less than the 6 points for helping someone...

Personally I think I might try to mix it up, switch between one for all and all for one every other day. I always want the prizes as fast as possible, but strategy wise it seems kinda tricky with this one default smiley xd

It's the Prisoner's Dilemma. If someone helps you but you don't help them, you get the most points (and they are left with 4 or 6, never 10). If you both help each other over time, you both get the most benefits (consistently getting 10 whenever you ask).

so am I correct in saying that the drop rate will be around 500/6 = every 83 days or so. My Egyptian which drops scales is pretty reliable in dropping every 3 months so this is pretty much on par with him default smiley :)

That is correct.
Sekhmet has a slightly lower drop rate (one every 60-70?), but 83 is reasonable.

Also,

they led with "You'll help another player" so I was pretty much won over. It's a similar concept to Wild Horses, only slightly more punishing.
Personally, I don't mind (I understand how some players would object to 30 days more though). default smiley :)

Will having only a two times more multiplier on the fragments have any impact on the amount of passes needed?

Not majorly, since there's many scattered throughout the event default smiley :)
If you're unlucky and don't get any of those sweet, sweet fragments along the way, though, you'll notice a very sensible increase in price.

Some attempts at Athos math:

Ask for help every day, receive help: 50 days to fill meter
Help someone else every day: 84 days to fill meter
Ask for help every day, have the worst luck of never receiving help: 125 days to fill meter
Ask for help/help someone every other day (and receive help): 63 days to fill meter
Ask for help/help someone every other day (and not receive help): 100 days to fill meter

I can't believe that they are making them quite so easy. At least make them the end prize of an event or something

This would be one of the few companions in which I would support it being the "divine prize" at the end of a promo. I am thrilled to see it in a promo, I have been playing this game for over a decade and I have never seen it offered outside of player sales, but I do believe level 5 in a promo doesn't do this respectable lady justice.

Also, do we know if the monster eggs are coming back? I have been holding onto mine since the event hoping to gauge the sales in order to pick the most expensive. But seeing how they haven't come back around, they're ALL still so very expensive. Any idea?

Not sure, but Halloween is coming soon, it's possible we might see them then.

Also, one of the Owktober challenges is Dragon Egg on the 12th, so it's possible we'll see it then. Or at least Yokai since we are going through a Japanese re-release.

I'm expecting a weekend of "Buy a monster egg for your horse" event, like we would for a companion chest.
Not for 95 passes, of course, but something about 300 passes I'd see it possible.
