Click to display merge and memory events are? I haven't heard of them before. Are they new (i.e., after 2015)?

They are. Ikebana was launched in 2019, it was the first iteration of the Merge Event.
The Hike is a bit older, but not by much, possibly a year?

I don't know what that event is either Its basically an event where you merge things to make prizes which you can choose to keep or make bigger things which you then merge again to make bigger bigger things until you get to the main prize. There should be info a few pages back on it.
