You can increase his skills by using your Passes.

I got 10x Marble to try out his drop rate.

Ranging from 100 (min) and 120 (max) covered kilometers/day I got a mean of 111 km. Marble needs 6370 km to fill the meter which roughly would take 60 days, give or take.

So there's some issue with that one way or another, because there's plenty of overlap and classification complications (even disagreements). However, most people can agree to some extent on a certain set of valuable shinies being called gemstones (even though some, like pearls, really aren't), and generally when people say "rock" they mean more everyday rough stuff that isn't valuable.

Based on the leading divine of the new series, compared to the divines in the old series, we'd think they know the difference, but the background for the divine series (on the special horses page) strongly implies otherwise. The background is a display of various rocks and minerals, but primarily showcasing what appear to be gemstones. So I'm betting they didn't do their research, or they don't care enough.

Of course, the background for the old series seems to have been made when they threw a bunch of generic crystal shape clusters with various colours haphazardly strewn about (look, shiny colours and stabby clear bits!) on the ground, so I'm not sure we can really compare the two backgrounds (not fairly at least).

AI and asked for a picture of "rocks", but I have absolutely no training in spotting ANY of it, and so I won't advance any accusation of the sort.

We thank you for raising the issue regarding the High PG Horse reward in the Ephemeral breeds. We also thank you for your patience, as we couldn't reply to your concerns immediately with many persons from the team being off during the holidays. We were finally able to discuss it today.

There is one point we had not anticipated and that we missed during testing: the impact the High GP horse reward would have on team sales. We now see how it would affect the teams working on the breed and selling horses and fully understand your concerns.
We heard you and decided to remove the high GP horses as a reward. We will replace them with passes for this edition of the Ephemeral breeds.

Where were the prizes (I'm assuming they're one of the "rare rewards" the top players will get) listed? Is it here in the spoilers thread, on Discord, was in preprod, etc.?

You get a little teaser about the next Divine series they are doling out trophies for. I wonder if they will be the new Ascent Divines?
