for the new Pastry divine in the stagecoach event, you'll need around 3.5k passes if you're highly unlucky with the GF like I was on preprod - and this was with the x4 community objective bonus...

any dates on the lottery promo?
By RowanGreen, 15th September 2019 05:23:00

None coming up that we know of. The lottery is usually paired with a Great Challenge. Since we've just had one of those it's going to be at least a few months. I think last year the GC was also paired with the snowball fight (?). If I'm remembering correctly, and they do that again, that would put the lottery to next year.

I think that was the Hearts Battle earlier this year, in February. Before that, UFOs have always been a stand-alone event as far as I remember. It didn't seem like many people liked it, though, so hopefully they won't do it again. UFO events are a bit of a let down as the festivities after a GC.

As for the lottery, it is likely to be next year before we see it again. We know the next two events won't be the lottery (Daruma pinatas and stagecoach), which will take use through September and most of October (19th Sep. - 7th Oct. and 10th - 28th Oct. if the usual schedule of starting the Thursday after the previous promo ends and lasting 3 weekends is followed). As we usually have more than 2 promos between repeats, the November promo is unlikely to have the GC (I think someone mentioned the Wandering Horses being on the Howrse Instagram a couple of pages ago? So that may be what we have in November) which leaves us with December and the Christmas promo. While it wouldn't be impossible, we've never had a Christmas lottery before and I doubt we will this time, which leaves us in January at the earliest.

Continuing the schedule speculation:

January promo has been the mazes both years I've been on here, so wouldn't be surprised if it's that again.

What I would like to see again at some point:

I know a lot of folks didn't like it, and it was glitchy and expensive if you went for the divine. But personally I would love to see a Forgotten Country type promo again. I like puzzles and maps, and I got a stack of prizes for free, including a Greyfell and 3 Nyx packs.

A question for anyone who tracks the divine promos: When was the last time Pixiu, Tianma, and Isis were offered? Thank you!

All of the Chinese cycled through in HoPs last year, because that was how I completed my set.

Looking at the last page of the horse directories, I see the last batch of Isis were born Feb. 2018, so we haven't missed her during this cycle.

I thought the Chinese divines have started cycling through again, because I was surprised to see them so soon after they came through last year, but I can't find them in Howrse's Twitter. I scrolled through pretty fast, but you may want to head to their Twitter feed to double-check. Pretty sure we haven't seen those two yet, though.

something good??

Maybe like the cards again, I got decent stuff from those. Maybe make it easier to win a Divine. Or the lottery.

Technically yes, if you have enough of the special item in stock and don't have to buy any with passes. But you will need to open special items in some way in order to finish, although I don't know how many.

Now that the Daruma event has started, all questions pertaining to the event can be posted in the Daruma topicdefault smiley :)

I've been wanting to complete my Tormentas tack and now that I'm short on passes i won't ever complete it. I had no idea (as it is so suddenly) that Howrse will release it in the horn of plenty again and so soon!default smiley :'( (would have saved my passes for it)

The promo coming after this one.

It is basically the same as the Sleigh Ride promo we had last Christmas, but without the Reindeer divines.

Indigo was in HoPs at the start of the month and Blue was in GFs in August, so it looks like the Rainbows are being cycled through again but in luck items rather than the reserved sales.
