I liked the original neck too. It was more true-to-life. The only thing that bothered me really was the fact that the coat was a dull dark grey as opposed to a glossy jet black.

what...is that? No offense but yours isn't better than the original one. it is completely out of proportion.
I think that the new stock horses are perfect, especially after they fixed their necks. Gypsies are better too.
I still think they should have kept the friesians the same as the original ones but they are here now so we will just have to deal with them. Some players were upset that the Howrse Team wasn't listening to their opinions about he new coats when they have. They fixed the gypsy Vanners and the friesians and the stock horses doing as you asked. Now that coats are out we will just have to get used to them and keep playing the game. If you don't like the new coats don't rant on about it. That's all I have to say.

Does anyone have any idea what the new coat is tomorrow?
By Retired breeder, 7th April 2014 21:03:33
I was wondering that too but I don't have a clue. I hope it is the Marwari cause I raise those. Or Gypsies or TW or Stnadardbred or any of them they are all awsome
I am really pleased that Howrse listened about the Gypsies, they have made them perfect now. I thought they were great before but I am also very happy with the new coats, I like the head being turned it shows the head better. I lke the new KWPNs too, they are much more realistic.

But they still don't look fluffy enough. :P
The manes and tails are too plain in my opinion... they need more shading. default smiley (8)

No offence, but I own Quarter Horses in real life and they look nothing like that. The tails do not look like Arabians, for one thing. default smiley ;)

Here is a halter QH
Sorry for the decorations but her head is perked a bit more and I kinda so-so like the new coats
Ok, I do admit my freisians look pretty bad with the new update
This is a Friesian (not my pic)

But kudos for trying artists, I don't want you to be offended

only thing i don't like so far is the spanish horses (PSH and such). a big part of the spanish breeds is there mane being full. which was very clear in the old design. but now you don't see mane at all

Friesians
The gypsys look like they are wearing bell bottoms now! I think less feathering and a more wavy mane.

I saw the Friesian in the Horse Parade earlier and thought, "Oh, they changed the Gypsy Vanner today." default smiley (lol)
It honestly does look a lot like the old Gypsy Vanner did!

The new gypsys' are better than they first were but still.Good job artists anyway, thank you for trying to fix it.
I'm starting to like the new horses..
The only coat I'm really annoyed with are the TBs , I'm quite sad. Ive lived around polo horses all my life and I went to the yard with my mum today , I looked at the horses ( most being TBs or TB X Arab) and none of them had any of those lines on their face... I'm not annoyed with the body and I could not care less about proportions but I would love if they had their faces fixed , make the head a bit longer and take away those lines then they might look like TBs default smiley xd The TBs are the breed I'm saddest about , I go to the yard and I cuddle and groom Cambalachae and Nadal ( two geldings) and they're so cheeky and smooth coated with fairly big heads .. So I just wish the heads were changed a little.. I can live with the new TB coats but I just don't feel as if the coat does the breed any justice default smiley :(
However that's my opinion , and while I do appreciate the time and effort that has gone into these coats some of the breeds have just lost their personalities that made them look cute and funny , a little deformed but who cared they looked cute default smiley (lol)

I like the Friesians -- much more real to life -- the older ones looked like plastic models-- stiff --
head could be a tad finer, but I think they "caught " the real Friesian much better
