We got the card pack offers today (pack of 4 cards for one pass only. Each pack contains 2 bronze cards (amongst which at least one of the cards you don't have yet) and 2 rarer cards!)

Up to this point I spent 29 passes and 24(?) freebie cards and I was only missing 8 cards, 3 of which were diamond puzzle cards. Here are some stats for the card packs I bought that includes the passes I spent in a single purchase and the card rarities I got with that purchase.

3passes= 6 bronze, 3 silver, 2 gold, 1 diamond
3 passes= 6 bronze, 4 silver, 2 gold
1 pass= 2 bronze, 2 silver
2 passes= 4 bronze, 3 silver, 1 gold
2 passes= 4 bronze, 2 silver, 1 gold, 1 diamond
1 pass= 2 bronze, 2 silver
2 passes= 4 bronze, 2 silver, 2 gold
2 passes= 4 bronze, 2 silver, 1 gold, 1 diamond

Though I was still missing a couple cards after 16 passes spent, I stopped keeping track as that would be the most I’d be comfortable spending on this promo. I’ve spent another 40 something passes and still missing a diamond and gold card. In terms of the rarities for each pack, what you get isn’t bad, but then you have to take duplicates into account and I’ve been getting lots of duplicates.

My plan is to take advantage of all the freebie cards I’ll get, then if I don’t have Greyfell by the last weekend of the promo then I’ll spend some passes to buy the special offer card packs. I don’t care if I get Taurus, but I’d really like to get Greyfell. Be nice if his cards stacked as I’ve gotten 3 or 4 Greyfell cards.

Joker Packs. It would have been nice to be able to choose the prizes, no matter the level.

I would much rather spend some extra passes to guarantee what I'm getting as opposed to throwing a few into the wind and hope the cards that blow my way are the ones I need.

76 passes for 8 cards isn't what I would call the best deal. You just never know how many duplicates you are going to get.

the possibility of guaranteeing no more duplicates for each puzzle that you complete, and others have as well. So like, once you finish the first puzzle, you're guaranteed not to get any cards for it. And once you finish all the puzzles, you won't get any puzzle cards at all.

I just wish Howrse will listen this time, because useless duplicate puzzle cards is like the number one reason why people hate the cards promo.

even if 1 of those 2 rarer cards were a joker card then that wouldn't be too bad. So you'd get 2 bronze, 1 rare whatever card and 1 rare joker card. I bet Howrse would consider that too easy for one pass though.

'Rare' Joker should denote only Gold of Diamond cards, because really? Howrse, silver cards ain't rare...

Though it did say "rarer" (assuming just rarer than bronze, but really, in that case "all other cards" would have easily worked) they should have put rar"er" in quotation marks. But it's all relative I guess

Agreed. That's be great. I have sooooo many bronze and silver puzzle cards and I can't trade them for equus since y'know I completed the puzzle already. At the bare minimum they should turn into prize cards of the same rarity level or like you suggested, not giving us any more. I hope Howrse listens. :/

the cards promo---how many times now(my cards page tells me 10, this will make 11)---and they haven't done that yet. The first couple times we had it I want to remember that unused cards turned into equus once the promo was over. It makes a mess to leave a bunch of unactivated puzzle cards in my stack(right now I just activate them whether I have them or not to get them out of the way), but I would much rather them having some sort of a use then just turning in to useless pixel dust once I obtain a copy
