Hey guys!! So I have a crazy obsession for collecting breyer model horses. I was wondering if anyone else on here collected breyers, too? default smiley :d
I have a couple congas but my favorite is my Forever Saige conga and Smart Jones!

I have a custom of my own horse too from Dan Van Customs! That is my all time favorite i think.

Oh, to clarify just in case, a collector's club member is NOT required to buy the exclusive traditional models offered, like Lavinia, but the other clubs require you to purchase their models through the year.default smiley 8-)

Thank you for the info Famousamos! So it sounds like the stablemates club is about $120 and you get six models, is there an entry fee to the SM club after getting into the collectors club for $35? If that’s the cost, I think I may go for it, maybe ask for it as a Christmas gift… I saw a preview of the SM model Astoria (sorry I don’t know how to post links) and I love all the details with her(?) mane braids. I’m sure the other models will be amazing as well.

The way Breyer runs it, it's technically $25 for each stablemate in the club, and you pay $30 to secure your spot, with $5 taken off of each model. So you can either think of it as $30 to join, then $20/each, or $25/each.

For the Collector's Club, you can either join just for next year, which is all you need to do if you want to join the SM Club for 2026, or you can join for the remainder of 2025+2026 for a little bit extra. The only upside to that is if you're doing a lot of holiday shopping from Breyer, or if you really, really, think you might want to fight for something from the Club side of the Black Friday sale. I only bring this up because I've seen people complain about buying the extra $10 of membership when they didn't really need it.

Thank you lilabug4545. That info really helps my decision, but overall it sounds like a fun treat to splurge on next year.

I'm trying to patiently wait for Breyer to start releasing more of the 2026 Stablemate Club lineup...but i'm beginning to run on fumes ha ha. Hurry up already! Its almost a guarantee that i will be signing up for the Stablemates club again this year, but i sure would like a bigger peak at what i'm joining for!default smiley xddefault smiley *-)

i decided to step back and only collect traditional scale. i still have a few molds i conga, but i didn’t see it worth it anymore. a few molds i had congas on, certain models were pushing over $50 and i cant justify that on such a small item. i’d rather pay that for a new traditional! i’m hoping breyer releases the rest of the premier lineup. the draft is pretty but im not a drafty type!

Yeah i agree that $50+ for a little is pretty steep!default smiley :o I don't think i've ever paid that much for a stablemate! I've always thought that even the $25 Halloween stablemate gamblers is too steep! I finally bought just one of those this year...i REALLY wanted a mini Thriller to go with my Traditional sized Thriller, but i didn't get that one.default smiley :$ I personally do like the drafts too...i really love Georgina but its just not possible for me to join the Premier club.

Did any of you collect the Freedom Series Elements horses? I wasn't really after them per se, but over time i picked one up here or there as i found them. Finally, the only one i lacked was Kai, the water horse. I went to a Bomgaars in a small town only something like 30 miles from me, and happened to see that they had one horse, and it was Kai. So i was like oh ok, i should get it. Got back in the car with my friend and was casually like, "look, now i have the whole collection." Cue the feeling of satisfaction from completing a set. So i went on my way as normal...and then a while later i found out...a couple of the Element series were sought after and going for like 3+ times what they sold for at the stores! I was like, huh? Come to find out, both Kai and the fire horse, Brandell, were chase pieces! I had zero idea lol. I knew i didn't see either of them on shelves more than once, but i just assumed they were more popular and sold faster. I certainly didn't expect horses from the Freedom/Classic series to be "hot" lol. But it turned out that they were rare and harder to find, aka chase pieces. I'm just casually over here like, doot do doot to doo...oh look now my collection, that i wasn't really passionately going after, is complete. So i was shocked...i think i saw a set of both NIB chase pieces together go on Ebay for like, i think, $150ish give or take. Wow! Here is the set (bigger pic):

Now, here is my big question...drumroll please!

We have Earth, Fire, Water, Metal and Wood...but where in the heck, especially in a horse series, is the Wind/Air element?!default smiley :o This is bothering me lol.

Yeah, I was disappointed in the wood instead of wind (as a wind element myself lol)! I didn't realize that the fire and water ones were chases, I thought those molds were just so much more vastly popular that they were selling out way before the other three!

Anybody get anything fun from the Black Friday sales? I picked up a Tuxedo, since I love the version with the star (although I certainly won't complain if I get the solid one!)
