Coat Release

I’m new to the whole coat release grind, but I got tired of never finding RCs. This time I came prepared — I had four pages open with the horses I wanted, and I refreshed right at 6AM.

But there were no RC coats available. Not even for riding unicorns, draft unicorns, riding horses, or pegasi. I’m still refreshing and still nothing.

I find it really hard to believe they’re all gone within 5 seconds. I was there exactly at release time and nothing showed up at all.

Is there some kind of delay, or am I missing something? What’s going on?

Regular release operates on a 5 minute delay, while VIP ealy release is right on the dot.

There did seem to be a bit of extra lag for both this time though

I’m finally seeing a few coats.

On the creation space page, how do I identify what type of coat each illustration is? I see a few I like, but it doesn’t show “riding unicorn” or “draft horse.”

I recommend viewing coats from the Creation Directories or the Golden Apple page instead.

I don't think the area your viewing shows the detailed info like counts and species

You can also visit the retired coat gallery, as there is usually someone that will post the limited coats with their species, limit, and creator. default smiley (y)

Could you please provide the link to the Creation Directories?

I’m looking in the creation space where it advertises the new coats. I’m mainly interested in identifying the species for the coat so I don’t have to trial and error test until I find a horse that can use the coat.

It's under community>directory>creations. Probably best viewed in Classic

Click the "date" column to the right to filter by newest coats, and you can use the other filters to sort by copy limit, species, if it's already retired, etc

Sweet! I didn’t realize you could access coat informations on the directories page. It was hiding from me.

One last question, I see a retired creation named “Twin Hunt” by saara88 that has 101/100 copies… How is this possible?

That can happen If multiple players grab it right at the same time

That happens when multiple players click to get the last copy at the exact same time and the game can't process it fast enough, so extra copies come to exist. I have seen as many as 3 extra copies.
