Foundation Horses

I'm new to the game after having been an avid player 10+ years ago (I am fully aware that gameplay has changed, still learning!). Are Foundation horses still a thing for people? Since I'm new I want to take advantage of the Champion Seed/Gaia Foals (passes aren't an issue). Are these a lucrative way to sell/breed horses? Or should I focus more on getting my EC up to par, competition horses ready with tack, etc? Thank you! (:

NIB (Not-In-Bred) breeders can find foundation horses valuable, but how valuable is dependent on the breeder.

What you decide to focus your game on is entirely up to you. Building a good EC is typically something that can take time, as gathering resources can be slow.

If you're looking for easy equus, use your meadows to grow cattle and then either sell the leather, or turn it into lunges and tack.
