Vintage Apples: Why are there way more coat color options for a specific breed than really exist ingame?
I wanna put them all on perfect matches. E.g. Marwaris. There is no Fleabitten Gray or Roan etc...

And different names for breeds, whats closest to American? Or other names...

For the random extra coats you will just have to use a dupe of another existing color

and american compatible breeds are Apps, Arg, Paint and quarter horses

Some of the extensive color variants can be explained with the fact that vintage apple doesn't differ between any version, hence why some breed types have more coat colors avaiable than actually are in use - and the other way around.

Some color options have existed in the past but have been removed for whatever reasons (e.g. newfoundland palomino), and were kept for nostalgia.

However, why there are some extended color options for some breed types that clearly never existed in first place (looking at you, palomino and cremello arabian), that is something only the Howrse devs could explain.
